Hogwarts:Breaking Dawn

Lake was hovering around the back of the room where everyone else was congregated. Once again feeling very out of place, rather like she had done at the wedding some months previously as she still didn't feel like part of the family. Even though she'd been looked after and treated as a daughter by Lyra and Casey while Mickey had run off leaving her a unwell mess. It was just strange to her to watch a family being... well a family.

She was walking to and from the window over-looking the large back garden, fiddling with the edge of her deep-red knee-length crinkled-fabric'd dress. Her other hand fiddling with her waist length hair or with the strange lace-net cardigan.

 

"whats up?"Mickey asked going up behind her

 

Lake jumped slightly as she turned around and walked into him. "Oh it's nothing." She replied quietly.

 

you sure?"he asked

 

"Yeah." She nodded. "It's just me being me I guess."

 

"you worry waaaay to much you know that?"he grinned

 

"No I don't." Lake whimpered, pulling a pathetic expression.

 

"yeah you do...do deny it"

 

"I don't worry much..." She said, her pathetic expression becoming cuter and cuter.

 

"dont look at me like that!"He laughed looking away"Ill only agree!"

 

"But I don't..." She said in a small yet adorable voice. Her bright green eyes shining sweetly like a puppy dog's eyes.

 

"oh no..."He said "Not that look....fine..."He sighed..."you dont.told you i'd agree..."he grinned

"is it me...or he becoming a right old softy?"Ronan asked

"like a big Teddy bear!"Sophie giggled,Mickey rolled his eyes

 

"It happens to the best of us in the end." Casey chuckled as he peered over the back of the sofa he'd been lounging around on.

Lake continued to look sweet and pathetic.

 

he grinned"i'll never be a teddy bear..."he joked

 

"That's what you say now, give it a few years."

 

why? that when you were a Teddy bear?"he grinned

"Your dad was always a big Teddy bear...until he got angry...then it was time to duck and cover."Lyra grinned

 

"I'm not that bad." Casey pouted. "But yeah, if you end up with kids... Or puppies or whatever you'd have, you'll certainly become a teddy."

 

"Puppies?" he said"who said i'll have kids?"he sniffed stiffly

 

"Seems possible." Casey shrugged. "And who said you wouldn't?"

 

"Me."he said"attention seeking little monsters...and after seeing my niece...im deffinatly not having any"he grinned as Esmya looked up and stuck her tounge out
