"Never say never." Casey smirked, subtly indicating the look on Lake's face. A look that seemed like she was rather disappointed yet trying to hide that fact.

 

he looked confused,then looked at her,a sort of guilty expression came across his face"yeah...well uh..."

 

"And this is why we think before we speak Mickey." Casey said in a superior and matter-of-fact voice.

 

you dont always think before you speak"he said

 

"But when I screw up it's cute." Casey grinned.

 

then what is it like when i screw up?"


"A really big mess..."Ronan said

 

"A very big mess."

 

nice to know"he said grinning"that i can make a really big mess."

 

"That's what he said."

 

he grinned,there was a sound of two car doors"they're here by the way."

 

"Oh fun fun fun kiddos." Casey said, looking over at the door. "The oldies approach."

 

he snorted

Maddie bit her lip

"how much do you think they'll freak out?"

"its mum and dad....is there a answer to that?"Jordan said

 

"Don't look so worried Maddie, they can't react that badly. I mean it's not like it's there first exposure to family members who aren't exactly human is it?" Casey said, trying his best to be supportive.

Lake fiddled more with the hem of her skirt as she carefully stood behind Mickey, this will be the first she she met them after all. So she was deathly nervous, she hated having to meet new people normally. Let alone when it was her boyfriend's, who she loved dearly's, grandparents. What if she screwed up and they didn't like her? What if they didn't like the fact she was a werewolf too? Maybe they thought it'd be a bad idea as it wasn't exactly impossible that their kids would be born werewolves. Her mind was swimming with all these troubled thoughts.

 

she nodded"your right..."

he glanced back at lake and smiled

 

"It'll be fine princess, don't worry so much." He smiled.

Lake, who'd moved her fiddling up from the laced-edge of her dress to a long ringlet of hair, looked up at him and smiled back before flushing a pastel shade of red and looking away again.

 

she nodded,smiling back,she suddenly remeber something"Esmya,sweetie...i need you to listen ok? two special people are coming in a moment to see us...they're not like us, or uncle mickey or Lake...they;re like grandma and grandpa, so whatever you do...you must'nt bite them,okay?"
"Okay Mummy!"she wasnt venomus like the other vampires,but she had this habbit of biting people when they werent looking,though she never drank their blood if she drew any

 

"Though if your other great-granddad appears go all for it, he is like Uncle Mickey and Lake." Casey chuckled, his voice dropping into a low grumble as he added. "However I doubt he will appear, he never does."

 

"he's a doggy too?"she asked,she called werewolves 'doggies' since she couldnt quite say the name

 

"Yeppers, he sure is." Casey chuckled. "But these two people who are coming aren't. And they're not like your Mummy and Daddy either. They're like me and your Grandma. So just remember what your mummy said about no biting? Because I doubt they'll appreciate it, I know I don't." Casey chuckled, many a time he'd been subjected to a nasty nip from his granddaughter. It was worse then the time his Granddad's peacocks had flocked together and chased him, tackling to the ground and pecking at him for around five minutes before they had eventually grown bored. It surprised him just how strong the kid's fangs were.

 

she giggled"Okies, i wont bite them...Daddy says its not polite to bit peoples..."she added seriously

Maddie fought a smile,trying to look serious too"he's right.."
