"Me? Doing something stupid? Never." Casey said in a tone of mock offence.

 

he lead the way into the hall,there wasnt many people there,so it was as crowed as it seemed

"you keep telling yourself that,maddie watch him."she joked before leaving,jordan following her with ronan behind him

 

Lake continued to follow behind him, feeling not only out of place but out of her depths. She was one of only three werewolves in the place and not only that she was the only one of her kind there that wasn't actually related to anyone. Also the fact she was wearing clothes she wasn't all that comfortable in too wasn't helping the situation. It was just making her feel all that more awkward and lost.

"You calling me immature? Well I say:" Casey called after Lyra, blowing a large raspberry at her. "to that."

"Seriously Daddy... You should be in a mental home." Immy said with a slightly confused expression.

"Nah, it's just because our Granddad dropped him when he was baby." Elle snickered as she past by following after Lyra, her pink dress fluttering in the breeze.

"Oh hardy hah hah." Casey said sarcasticly.

 

"you ok?"

she laughed

 

"Yeah... Just feel like a fish out of water..."

Casey chuckled. "So you ready for this Mad?"

 

she nodded"are you?"she joked


"oh,why?"

 

"I'll never be ready for this."

"Just... kinda... there's a lot of vampires and like... nearly everyone is related to each other in some way, or at least will be related by the end of today. Just feel like the odd one out."

 

"does that really matter to you?"he said"you dont need to worry about not be related to any of us."


she smiled"but you'll get through it."

 

"I just feel out of place... That's all. I'll get over it in a bit I expect, it's just a little strange."

"Of course I will." Casey chuckled.

 

she smiled

"yeah.i'd probaly feel the same."he said sitting down

 

Casey smiled back and hugged her again. "Can't believe this, still think of you as a little girl when people ask me about you..."

Lake nodded and carefully sat down beside him. Smoothing her dress down at the back as she lowered herself onto the seat to make she she didn't crease it.

 

"might not be little or even a girl,since im a woman now"she grinned"but inside im still your little girl,and you still have Immy."

he slide down in his seat as his grandma lily walked by,she would drag him to the front and make such a fuss.

 

"True, but still. It's just weird seeing you all grown up."

"Avoiding the relatives?" Lake giggled

 

"Yeah,is she gone?"he said

"weird seeing you act like this."

 

"She's talking to someone a couple of rows down. Blonde haired woman around her age."

"Weird seeing you getting married."

 

"my other grandmother."

she grinned up at him

ooc-i was thinking maybe that when she finds out shes pregnant,she phones home to say hi and talks to jamei and immy because she's scared that the others will freak

 

"They get along?" Lake asked in mild surprise. "Don't normally the in-laws hate each other?"

"But at least you're happy." He smiled.

"yeah,but they were mates since first year at school,thats how my mum and dad are so close,they were best mates too,before they got together."
