"Seeing as I'm the most Malfoy-esque I'm saying I'm prob'ley the worst." Casey replied, now his look for the twins had stopped being just a cover for his school boy crush actions and he was genuinely trying to identify where the two little urchins had run off to.

 

"is that so?"she grinned,then noticed he seemed to be searching for someone..."Oh,do you need help looking for them?"

 

"Please, if I've lost them Mum's going to maim me." Casey replied before taking one of his giant steps and looking around the surrounding area.

 

she nodded"I'll go this way."she said

 

"Thanks." Casey nodded. "There's one!" He said, pointing in the direction Lyra was headed. "It's Jenie, watch out if you go after her, she's started setting little traps." He warned before darting off after a small brown haired little boy, he wasn't letting Lyra go after Ben. Not with him being how he was, didn't want the little bugger to bite her. Lycanthropy wasn't something he perticulary wanted to explain to Lily, or his own mother.

 

she took off after Jenie,"Jenie wait!"

 

There was a evil sounding, yet some how cute cackle from just around the corner. Jenie was lurking behind one the waste bins, the edge of her powder-blue dress just visible and the tips of her pitch black pigtails showing up against the fabric.

 

"Jenie.."Lyra said making her way over"your mums going to be very anrgy if you dont come out..."

 

"No she won't." Jenie replied in an eerie sing-song voice, still not emerging from her hiding spot.

 

"I think she will...you shouldnt run off in croweded places you know...you could get lost...or hurt."

 

"No I won't." She carried on in the same creepy voice, backing away from Lyra quickly.

 

"Jenie come on please...do you want your brother to get in trouble?"

 

"Maybe I do, maybe... I... DON'T!" She said, her voice raising as she spoke each of the last three words before shouting loudly and shoving the bin over and kicking it so it rolled towards Lyra.

 

"Jenie come on ,enough!"she said stepping out the way of the bin

 

"Damn you!" Jenie whined, stamping her foot irratatedly. How dare that woman move out of the way, that wasn't how it was meant to go!

 

"dont you want to go back to your brother? so you can play?"

 

"Oh but we are playing Lyra." She grinned, the creepy look in her eyes and tone in her voice returning.

 

"really?"she said

 

"Oh yes. And you're part of it now." She cackled before running off.

 

she sighed and ran after her
