"A lot worse." Casey sighed.

 

"Oh."he said"Hey...Ly? werent you supposed to meet Him today?"Jordan muttered rolling his eyes.


"wha~ oh no! im late...here Jordan take these again! bye Casey!,maybe i'll come by and see you later!"Lyra said rushing off

 

"Huh? Oh... Yeah... See you Ly..." Casey sighed, a bitter feeling of disappointment rising in his stomach. Of course she'd be meeting up with her stupid, no-good, jack-off boyfriend. He should be used to it by now, but still... The idea that she would rather spend time with some guy who wasn't him was enough to make him feel like crap.

 

"you alright?"Jordan asked raising a eyebrow

 

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm fine." Casey nodded. "Just wish she'd leave that guy... He's not good enough for her..."

 

"we all know that...but she wont leave him."jordan said rolling his eyes

 

"I would break them up myself... But she seems happy with him..." Casey sighed, trying not to sound bitter or resentful.

 

"Happy?"he laughed"you havent seen them together lately have you...they're strictly no contact...no hugs...no kisses no anything...not even a hand shake. I think he's messing her around again...and i think she knows that too."

 

"If he is I swear I'll kick his arse..." Casey said, his personality switching quickly and dramatically. It was moments like this when you thought he may actually get violent, as rare as they are, when you truly realised that he really was a werewolf's son.

 

"there'd be a line to do that....there'd be nothing left of him...Hey...thats a idea...why dont we just do it anyway?"he grinned

 

"I'd rather not get on Lyra's bad side if I can avoid it." Casey chuckled. "But if I ever get any evidence he's messing her around he'll be dead before he knows what hit him."

 

He grinned"Lyra's a pussy cat...sometimes."he said"too right he wont know what hit him."

 

"More like a saber-tooth tiger really." Casey said, trying not to laugh. "But seriously, he better not upset her or hurt her or anything... At least not anymore."

 

"Yeah,why dont you talk to her about him? you are her best friend."

 

"Don't you think I've tried? I didn't think they should date in the first place in all honesty." Casey sighed. "She just thinks I'm being over-protective, and prob'ley jealous too seeing as she's spending a lot more time with him then she does with me."

 

"I'd be jealous too"Jordan said"its normal..."

 

"I guess so..." Casey nodded. "I just want her to be happy though, but she needs to make her own choices..."

 

he nodded,his head turned to watch Zane walk around the corner,looking slightly annoyed"wheres my sister?"he said sharply


"Back there,not like i care though...she can do what she wants too now."
