And keep in mind, because this will soon be a rule, that if you already have a character on a Quidditch team, no other character of the same player can join the quidditch team of their house.

In, and a very nice name! Also, as for the 'Patronus' question, I actually did consider adding that to the OC template. However, even though Lupin will be teaching at the school, and some students can summon a patronus, I sort of decided against it because then everyone would want to have their characters have a patronus. If only one character is allowed to have a patronus per player, then I'll allow whomever to just add 'Patronus' to their template, if they so wish.

After all, it'd give me something more to teach as Lupin! ^^

And, to RisingStorm, I fixed the problem with SORA! best I could, so please, don't leave us. Besides, SORA! stood little chance of getting the position seeker anyway, due to two reasons:

1.) SORA! can RP, but not so well at times, to be frank and honest. Sorry, S!

2.) The seeker position would be for GRYFFINDOR(!) team. Quite obvious almost everyone's going to want Harry's position on Harry's house team. So the list of hopefuls would be very long.

But trust me on this, there's going to be so many safe guards from godmodding, nobodie's going to slip past. If they do, they'll have to answer either to me, as the RP-starter, Madam Hooch, as the Quidditch Ref, or the Headmaster or head of any house, depending on the seriousness of the godmod.

A safe-gaurd haveing to do with Seekers, in detail, is an idea I got from the Quidditch World cup video game for the PS2. Seekers can't even see the snitch until one team is one hundread points or more over their opponent, and then the two team seekers get quized by whoever the announcer is, and who ever gets five perfectly answered difficult HP-related questions, catches the snitch successfully.

In the first post, I am going to elaborate the exact details of each room, each hallway, each corridor, and each secret passageway. As for events, Sir Nick will actually hold a speacial inventation death day party on Halloween. So, to be honest, nobody'd need to have read the books, 'cause all of the needed info will eventually be in either a tutorial, or on the front post. Such as, Hagrid, during the first week of term, teaches all of the Quidditch teams together, the rules and gameplay of Quidditch. In his own way a' course. Summat like that has ter be handled prope'ly, or else yeh'd be up in teh ferbidden forrest without a paddle, eh?

Well, students can receive their letters at different times. The start of Role-play begins with students getting their return or first-year letters, and then there's a month for them to buy school supplies in Diagon alley. Basically, everyone's well covered.

Beleive or not, I may actually try and fit in such a creature. After all, the Chamber wasn't exactly destroyed, now was it? Basiliks are made, not born, precisely, so a very brilliant student character might be able to make one. Controlling it would be different however, as no characters are allowed to speak Parseltoungue. On that note, however, I've mulled it over about what Vertigo said and I've decided; Not only will students learn the Patronus in their third years(And receive advance lessons and practices with them for later years), which, of course, will be taught by none other than Remus Lupin, but a new and old character will be added on as a teacher of self-transfriguration. So, already applied people can select to have an animagus form and a specific Patronus, and new people will just have to copy it from an updated template. As for who's teaching Self-transfiguration, which will only be allowed to fifth years and up, surely you can't be Serious to think I'll tell you.

How is the history going to work? Clearly Dumbledore is still theere. So does Harry Potter exist? How about You-know-who?

 

ok, this RP is going to be sweet.

 

It's not actually the 1991-1997 timeline, persay. Just useing traditional characters so this will be more...well....traditional. Harry Potter, I don't know if I'm going to include them. I mean, if somebody got that sort of role, then they'd think this RP is all about them. You know? What I might do is make Harry James Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Jean(Yes, she has a middle name...xP) Granger, Fred and George Weasly, Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnigan, Lee Jordan, Cho Chang, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, Colin and Dennis Creevey, etc.... NPCs, meaning players can include them in their characters' role-play, but they can't actually play them.

However, if it comes to a point where everyone wants a canon student character, then that will come with a price: Draco, Fred and George, and Colin Creevey are mine! xD Seriously, I would take Draco, at least.

Also, to note, the role for Remus Lupin will in fact be up for grabs in a matter of days. I'm giveing him up to be the new teacher for "Advanced Self-Transfiguration". Nobody else can change roles, just so everyone knows, but alot of people would want Lupin and I would be better as....the new teacher. I'm not telling anyone yet. All I ask is: Have you seen this Wizard?

Oh, and almost forgot, Voldemort. Don't look so shocked Mr. Powers, we must always call him by his true name. (Which is actually pronounced Voul*de*more, the t is silent) I may and may not include Tom Marvollo Riddle, due to the fact of Godmoding. However, certain barriars could be placed in order, that could allow only minor privelages to the role of the Dark Lord. Also, like Dumbledore, if a person takes the role of Voldemort, then they cannot be any other character; not even a student. But, unlike Dumbledore or any other character, there will be a question that one must naswer to attain the role of Voldemort.

If the first question is answered correctly, then the player can play as Voldemort. If the second question is answered correctly along with a correct first, the player can have the normal amount of student charact and Voldemort. If only one answer is answered correctly, they can only play as Voldemort, with no side characters.

a.) How are Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort related? This must be found in the books. NO(!) internet searches!

b.) What do the three words in Voldemort's self-given name actually translate into. Hint: the Vo is pronounced Voul, and the t is silent.
