How did you find out about Kingdom hearts?

by watching disney and that commercail eventually drove me crazy i hated it. and i was suriously put off by the whole thing.

i never even bought the first game it was a gift, now i can't get enough of the series.

 

I was watching a commercial while doing homework one day, and saw a game with nice graphics and a very nice background song with a mix of disney characters, along with a glimspe of some Final Fantasy characters, including Sephiroth. The moment I saw Final Fantasy, along with that amazing song, Simple and Clean, I decided I wanted to buy the game.

 

My friend kept wanting to show me some boss fights (Axel and Final Xemnas).

Finally, my cousin borrowed the game from his friend when visiting, and I played through most of it from the beginning. My cousin left, and I was disappointed that I couldn't finished because I really got into the game, so I went out and bought it.

I bought Kingdom Hearts 2 first.

Then the first and Chain of Memories. Played Chain of Memories second, then finally Kingdom Hearts.

I played the entire series in reverse.

 

i first heard about kingdom hearts in 2001 in a mag but then a while later i saw the preview on TV

 

My older brother had his video game-loving friend over, and he was playing KH1. He was facing Genie Jafar at Agrabah. I thought it was sooo cool so I rented it on Christmas Eve of that year and then bought it :P It was so aweosme.. xD

 

*Flashback*
Before KH2....
I had seen it at some video game stores, played a demo at Wal-Mart, thought it sucked.
Then my friend showed me how the game play really worked.
I was forever addicted...

 

I actually had found it on the Jampack my mom got with our PS2 and we told her we wanted it!

So we rented then bought it <3


we were happy they made a second....​

 

I never heard about it until my mom bought it for me.
She was all like, "This looks like a cute game so I bought it for you. lololol"
And yeah...

 

Well, for me, it was my cousin and the ads. I didn't get it at first 'cuz I didn't have a PS2 yet. Then, when I got one, I bought it while Christmas Shopping. (Sux that I found the "Greatest Hits" version 'cuz, in my opinion, the red "dip-down logo ruins the box art and shows off that you bought it extremely late.)

 

I first heard about KH from a trailer that was the House of Mouse: House of Villains video, but didn't think too much of it at the time. Soon after, I saw the commercial for CoM on TV, was amazed by the music in the clip and got curious, but still not enough to get the game. A few years later, my brother got it for Christmas, but didn't see the big deal in it. I went "Sigh, fine I'll play it and let you know how it ends," I fell in love with the game as soon as Cloud made his appearance in Olympus Colleseum. After I beat the game, I ordered CoM and a play guide online, and after many excrutiating tries, beat the game. Lucky for me, two months later, KH2 came out. I've been a KH fanatic ever since.

 

I saw the KH2 game promo on Disney Channel and then I thought: "That seems a little bit dumb..."
Then I rented KH1 and I just couldn't put it down. Then I begged my mom to buy both games for Christmas and then I got hooked on Kingdom Hearts! Boy, was I wrong!!!

I found out from the commercial that aired on Disney Channel. It was this secret lab report. It's Where this kid sneaks into a lab and finds out the latest games, movies and etc. It was like an advertisment thing. Example Disney 411.

 

This Christmas I got a PS2 from some of my bestest friends (did I already post here? I feel like I've told this story...) and they got me KH2. I'll admit I was wary becase it took forever to get into the actino (though the beginning movie is beauitful) but man, once I got in...I was hooked so fast my eyes were like bleeding. (jk).

And now a million info bits, a couple fics, and a tattoo later, I've given myself up to the Kingdom Hearts fandom. :D

 

Well when my bro brought it home while i was at mah friends... he was at destiny islands so i thought it was cute and played... that night I HAD NIGHTMARES.... but yeh know still played... but not at night ^^

I laughed at the KH2 ad - lol we had it 2 months before it came out

 

I found out by the commercials and my friend. I watched her play it and I was hooked the moment I saw Sora. XD

 

huge final fantasy fan, so i heard about this game way before it came out so i kinda heard about it from the interwebs (lol for those who get it)

 

when i was in 3rd or 4th grade (whenever kh came out) it went something like this
Friend 1: Hey! Do u like action games?
Me: Yeah...
Friend 2: Do u like FIGHTING EVIL!?
Me: yeah, i guess...
Friend 1: DO U LIKE FIGHTING EVIL WITH GIANT KEYS?!
Me: uhh....wait what?
Friend 1 and 2: THEN GET KINGDOM HEARTS!

A few days after christmas i got kingdom hearts 1.

 

my next door neghoiro got it form his from and then i saws him played it and then i liked it and i always watend to play it but i rented kingdom hearts 2 about 1 yuear later
