Saw it on Aku Ankka (Donald Duck magazine in Finland), and I was like OMG, spiky haired dude with a huge key!? I got the second part of the series first, year ago, but heard about the game MUCH before it.

I saw the commercials and I'm like, "Hey, that looks cool, I want to play that"

That was for the first one before it came out. I'm in 11th grade now, still hooked to all of them.

I remember seeing it on a laptop before it came out and thinking I wanted to get it,then when it did come out I fell asleep at the alice in wonderland part, and I know this sounds crazy, but I dreamed about the part with the tea party BEFORE I saw it happen. Then I started to really get into the games when kh2 came out,and I've loved them ever since. Weird memory...

I found out about Kingdom Hearts after seeing a Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories advertisement, I only liked it at first because of the song in the background. Soon I forgot about it.

Then my sister found out about it on accident on youtube and showed me. From then on I've become obsessed with Kingdom Hearts.

OK, I'm probably bumping this thread but what the hell.

I found KH1 when my mum had a new boyfriend. He pretty much lived off the PS2, and had Kingdom Hearts but only played it up until the start of Wonderland. So when he brought the PS2 over (I was about 8 then) I'd never played on one before. I started to go through his games, but skipped KH because I thought it must be rubbish, being an obvious Disney-only game. As most of my friends seem to think. Eventually I picked it up and had a go... I loved it, even though I got stuck on finding the fish for the journey.

About a year later, I went over to my friend's house because he had KH1 as well. As always seems to happen whenever I go on his PS2, he deleted his game when I loaded mine and he saved it on what he thought was my memory card. Luckily I had brought over my card with the game saved at Final Rest, so we loaded that up and headed through the door (before that I had always seemed to think that the last Darkside battle was the last boss). We took turns battling Ansem (now revealed, obviously, as Xehanort's Heartless), changing whenever Ansem did or when Sora was sent to the blank space where Donald and Goofy were.

We completed it and watched the cutscenes, then when the last screen came up, we stared at it as if to say "NO! THERE HAS TO BE MORE". A year later I was still playing it, then I got KH:CoM. I bought KH2 as soon as I saw the adverts.

I got into Kingdom Hearts the same way I got into Final Fantasy... And video games at all, really. This'll be long....

About a year ago, my best friend found some FF AMVs to songs she liked, so she started looking for more of them. She seemed content to just listen to the songs and ignore whatever was happening in the AMV (though we both found characters we liked, and still like), but I was confused why the blond guy jumped off a cliff and I wanted to know whether he died or not. So, eventually, I looked up Final Fantasy in Wikipedia... And got immediately hooked to it.

So, I read through all the articles on Wikipedia had on FF (the blond guy who jumped off a cliff was Tidus. And that guy I liked that I kept seeing with the scar was Squall. And Tifa, Rinoa, Yuna, and Lenne are not the same girl. ^^; ), and at the bottom of most articles of the main characters was something saying that they showed in Kingdom Hearts. I'd already heard of that, it was the Disney game my other friend liked with that guy with red hair and that blond kid. (I thought Axel was the main character, since my friend always went on about him. XD And I'd seen Roxas and Axel in people's signatures on forums. And I think I saw a commercial for CoM at some point. It scared me. "Goofy and... Some weird kid with a giant toothbrush?") But KH looked really confusing, and the Disney part kinda turned me off.

Then I met a guy who was really into KH. ^^ I wanted to be able to talk about KH with him, so I went back and attempted to understand it. I didn't get the Heartless/Nobody thing, but now I wanted to play it.

And then I got a PS2 for my birthday and my nephew (only two years younger than me) got me KH and KH2. (He knew I liked it and he remembered playing, himself. He didn't get it either and he couldn't get past Traverse Town.) So, I played, finally understood it, and got totally hooked on it. And managed to get my nephew and best friend to love it, too.

Long story short: Saw stuff on youtube, read it on Wikipedia, eventually played it, got hooked.
...I could have just said that. XD

I got it for christmas, along with my first games console - PS2.
Kingdom OF Hearts, we called it.
And i didn't really like it. Go round collecting logs....oh how fun!!! But as I got into it i found out what it was really like, and I even loved the storyline...by the time I got to Halloween Town I was ADDICTED.

Now this is slightly off subject but I remember extraordinarily, i was stuck on the battle where you first meet Ansem (in Rikus body) for almost a YEAR. True - I DID give up and not play for about 7 months...but...WOW.

Years ago, I was at my friend's house. While I was on his computer, he was playing Kingdom Hearts. At first, I thought it was stupid. My first thought was "Is that boy (Sora) fighting with a giant wrench?" It seriously looked like a wrench, for some reason. He was fighting Kurt Zisa (of course, I didn't know that when I watched him).

Then, on another forum, I saw a lot of members talking about Kingdom Hearts, so I Googled it. It actually looked pretty interesting, so I begged and begged my mom to buy it. Eventually, she bought it, and I started playing. I loved it immediately. =)

My brother started playing the games, and I really liked watching him play them. I would sometimes make him play so I could watch. He got fed up after a while and told me to play them for myself. Now I am crazy over the Kingdom Hearts series.

I first heard about Kingdom Hearts on this Christian music channel called TVU. The host Obadiah was talking about the game. I didn't pay attention though. Then one day I saw it at my neighbor's house and asked to borrowed it from them. I later bought KH2 and then one later.
