How did you find out about Kingdom hearts?

i went to youtube,type in kh parody just randomly clicked one of them and saw a scene of kingdom hearts 2 and i went bloody hell there's kh2!well i knew there was going to be Kh2 because i saw the secret ending.. -_-

 

Woah, if you found out about Kingdom hearts before the second one please share how you found out about that.

day I bought it then one month later I saw KH2 and I got

I was on youtube and I saw "Kingdom Hearts The Stupid Files."
I thought it looked really good so I rented it and loved it, so I bought it.

 

I saw it in the shop, I thought it was a good games so I bought it, Kingdom Hearts 2. But it wasn't good.



































IT WAS GREAT, my two favourite things coming together, RPGs and Disney.

 

I saw the commercial, but I didn't want to get it (I thought it was stupid). My friend bought me the game for my birthday, and we were both addicted to the game. I've never actually beaten Riku-Ansem. He did that. I remember seeing Chain of Memories in a magazine, but I didn't want that either. I got it for my birthday from guess who. Then I got myself Kingdom Hearts 2.

 

I was youtube browsing and saw this amv, so it made me wonder what was it? Then I figured out it was kingdom hearts

 

For KH1: My cousin forced me to play it. . he said I would like it and I did.

KH2: B-day gift.

When it first came out I saw my friend playing KH1. At first I dismissed it, thinking, "So what? It's just another stupid video game." and when I tried to play it later, I was horrible and couldn't make it through the prologue. So I decided to officially hate it.

I didn't even know CoM came out until I played KH2.

Many years later...
KH2 came out and I had grown into a Disney fanatic. So while watching the commercial for it, it brought back memories of the game I hated so very much. But when I saw the Disney characters, I thought, "Why not?" so I tried it. I eventually got into it after catching up with the events from the first two, and WHAM! instant addict. Now I'm obsessed.

One day (in like, 2002) they had a little blip about Kingdom Hearts. I clicked on it and it had some cool screenshots and told the plot of the game. I though it looked sooo awesome, I mean, a whole bunch of Disney characters are in a video game!!!
So I went to kingdomhearts.com and soon became totally obsessed with Kingdom Hearts. I didn't have a PS2, so when Chain of Memories came out, I got it for my game boy.

 

One day I asked a friend if they could record the new episode of this one anime I was watching (I was going camping, so I would miss it unless it got recorded). I came back a week later, he gives me the tape, I watch it. Once it was over about two seconds into the credits it showed all the cutscenes and gameplay from the point of no return.

So I am watching all these cutscenes trying to figure out what the game was called (I had heard of Kingdom Hearts at this time but I knew nothing about it). It finally hit me when Xehanort's Heartless said the area they were in was Kingdom Hearts.

Even if he spoiled almost all of the storyline I still wanted the game. Three years later, here I am.

 

Well I found out about KH first back when COM came out, I was going to rent it because the song in the commercial was great. But I didn't get a chance.

Then when all my friends were playing COM and KH2 they got me into it and I loved it and played all the games in order.

 

I remember when I first heard of KH. I was at my babysitters house. The TV was on and the Disney channel was on. They had the little commercial of sorts where there's a kid(you only hear his voice) walking around this big lab place. He goes up to this awesome machine and he asks the computer for recent information and it uploads information from Kingdoms Hearts. You see this awesome preveiw. I was weirded out because I saw this brown haired kid side by side with Donald and Goofy. It looked weird, vbut I wanted to try it. Unfortunately I sucked at videogames at the time (who am I kidding, I still do suck) so I knew I had to wait for my sister to play it because she's better than me. She didn't want to play it because it was a crossover and it looked gay. After several years of begging, her friend manged to convince because of the Halloween Town level. I watched her play and we loved. She grew out of it and I became overly obsessed. I still wish I knew where that video is today, I want to see old memories. i will have you know that the theme song is what grabbed my interest.

Am I the only guy who knew about kh BEFORE com came out. XD

Anyway It started with my friend getting the game for himself, he kept talking about it I didn't really care that much, although i found it semi interesting. Later on my dad got me a ps2 for my birthday, and with it my dad let me buy a game. I was tied between FFx and Kh, Eventully I choose kh because of all my friend said about it. Got hoocked, and anxiously awaited the next game. :B

 

It was weird, when I got KH2 I didn't know it was a sequel until I looked at the game case closer and I was like 'I was wondering why it made no sense.' XD but that birthday- that advert changed my life.

 

I remember I loved the music to that commercial. I wish I could see that video again.

 

-when i bought the ffx international, there was another cd and it has an advertisment of kh1 in it
-my friend had 1 and told me the story of kh1 and got interested
-played my classmate's kh:com in the gameboy and rented a kh2 and got addicted
-searched in the internet and got obsessed
-when my parents said we can buy the kh2 we found, i really jumped and shouted, then kh1, kh2fm, and kh1fm

 

Well, two summers ago my younger step brother brought over his Kh2 game and I played a little bit of the beginning but I mostly watched. He never brought it back so I really wasn't that interested for awhile. Then last summer I was on youtube and saw a video for Kh and then I watched other videos and I got hooked, but I had to wait until Christmas when I got kh and Kh2. I didn't get to play Kh:CoM until at the end of the school year when one of my friends let me borrow it...

 

Same thing happened to me. xP

I really need to buy KH. D:
