How did you find out about Kingdom hearts?

Well with me i was reading a gaming magazine which i wuld skim through every month. then all i saw was GAME OF THE MONTH and said. hmm i shuld try it. Then i bought the game. good thing i had perseverance or else i wuldnt be here today. i wanted to quit after the beginning where i had to find donald and goofy like 23987462938476 times :D But now its my favorite game of all time.

 

Fan art on deviantart is where I first saw it then I did some research. I wanted so badly and got it for x-mas.

 

Youtube i was skimming for mv's and saw kh vids i click on them and was like " OOO i want this game it looks cool"

 

my best friend told me about it so i went to youtube to watch some Amv's about it and i was like: OMG must have it..
so yeah..
to bad they dont bring Re: CoM outside Japan =(

 

My sister's boyfriend, actually. He came over claiming he was letting us borrow the best RPG ever. I thought he was crazy... a month later I knew he was correct.

Well I first learned about it through the TV and I remember the song being so catchy and it would get stuck in head pretty easily, but since it was a game with Disney I thought it might be too childish and boring even though I liked the idea of a story about the Disney worlds. Then I saw on a few anime forums that a lot of people had sigs with the KH chars and whatnot so I figured "hey, it must be good to be so popular right?" The biggest reason though was when I watched this AMV that had mostly scenes from Deep Dive and I thought it just looked so awesome! It also reminded me a dream I once had since it took place in a dark city during a night rain, and Riku reminded me of the person I had seen in that dream because they were wearing black coats. I also thought Riku looked awesome just on his own, so after some begging I finally got KH1 and loved every minute of it, except for all the waiting until KH2 XD

 

well for me my mom got it from blockbuster cause she thought she will like and i played but she and my big brother hogged it and beat it and then returned it and i always finished what i started and finding out there was a #2 i was addticed and i liked 1 too so i just had to play 2 and that was ween it came out

 

this is how i got hooked on kingdomhearts its was like a year and a half ago and i was watching disney channel and disney 411 came on and it was abourt cheats on kingdom hearts 2 i never new wat kingdomhearts was so i didnt bother then like 2 months later i went to my friends house and he was barrowing number 1 so he told me about it and said that it was cool so i tried it and it was awesome so i barrowed it from him then after i had to give it back about a month later i was playing ff 8 and it got boring quick so wen i went to the store with my birthday money and i saw kingdomhearts 2 so i thought i remember that so i bought it the next day my friend that got me hooked on kingdomhearts 1 came over i showed him it and me and him were hooker after i beat kingdomhears 1 and 2 i was at school and at lunch i asked my friend if he noes anything bout kingdom hearts 2 or 1 he didnt have a playstation 2 so he said no but i no of a kingdomhearts chain of memories im like wats that so he told me it was a kingdomhearts game on game boy im like oh cool so 2 days later he brought it to school and i tried it and i liked it he already beat it so i traded him for my yu-gi-oh gx duel acdemeny and thats wen i bought kingdomhearts one 4 months later my friend stole my number 2 so i just got number 2 back i want both final mixes but cant get then that sux well thats my story

 

I found out when my Girl friend told me that the game rocked and so i played it and i've loved it ever since!

 

well i was walking through my living room when all of a sudden i saw the commercial.
what really got me was the song Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru. and then the song was stuvk in my head and i kept seeing the commercial and i knew i had to play it. but i couldn't get it due to lack of money. so than my (old) best friend Meghan got it only because i wanted it than waved it in my face. than a year or so later i bought it off eBay that beat it and loved it. than i was walking around Wal-Mart a few years later and saw KH:2 and was like "Oh My Freaking Gawd!!" and had my mom drive me back to my house so i could get my money, than i bought it on the spot along with like, one of those HUGE boxes of Goldfish crackers. and sat very very close to the TV for hours on end. no one dared to move me from i spot! lol. and after i beat it, it changed my life!

 

wel...i first found out about kh2 when i was getting a Ps2 for my Birthday last year! my brother wouldnt stop bugging me about it and i finally said that we can buy it...i thought that kh2 would suck cause i never played it..... but the truth is i ended up luving it!!! and i owe it all 2 my brother!

 

I had seen several commecials regarding Kingdom Hearts several years ago. I can't recall being interested in them, but I do vaguely remember seeing them, and I also remember seeing it at a store along with Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (lol) and a huge pop-up poster/display. We had just moved, so I didn't have a computer, and was therefore shut out from the whole phenomenon for the game.

I recieved the first Kingdom Hearts for Christmas in 2002. I tried it that night, played it, thought it was kinda strange (I thought I was too old for Disney >.>;; Er, just to be clear, I'm Disney obsessed now. Except High School Musical D:<...), couldn't beat the first boss and gave up. I moved on to Sly Cooper, which I had also recieved as a gift, but my cousin STOLE it from me and left me with nothing to play (It dissappeared one night while he was at my house, the next day he had a copy and when I asked him where he got it, he said "I don't know." HOW STUPID DOES HE THINK I AM?!). So then I just quit gaming in general.

Four years later, my friend Maria is staying over at my house. We had absolutely nothing to do, so she saw my PS2 and suggested we play a game. I showed her what I had, and of all things, she picked Kingdom Hearts. I actually remember contemplating whether or not to show that to her, incase she picked it.

I tried telling her that the game sucked, it was insanely frustrating and difficult, and that it was sort of stupid. But she insisted we play. And so we played.

We both got addicted. And even then, we couldn't beat the first boss (we thought there had to be something more than just whacking the Darkside's wrist, so we tried everything else, which did hardly any damage and always got us killed). After she left the next day, I continued playing, consulted a walkthrough, and carried on. And then I looked up Kingdom Hearts on google, and came across a gorgeous screenshot from Kingdom Hearts II.

Needless to say I was in love. I needed that game. Right away. And I also needed a memory card.

It was summer, June 3rd, I remember. Summer 2006, and I went to get a memory card at the store. Well, guess what I saw? Kingdom Hearts II. Right there. On sale.

I got both the memory card and KH2. I remember looking at the box in the car and squealing like an idiot >.>;;. I went to start KH1 over when I got home, and promised myself not to play KH2 until it was done, but that didn't last long XD. I ended up staying up all night to play KH2. About a week later, I'd finished it and I'd almost finished KH1, and with a little more research, I was introduced to CoM.

Haha. In love all over again. And so now I'm obsessed with the entire series, thanks to my friend who still knows nothing about it ^^;;.

 

Well, I saw the commerical for Chain of Memories and it looked really intresing. So a year later I got for Christmas and found it was the first game in the series and it went PS2 and I didn't have a PS2. So another year later I went and bought a PS2 just for Kingdom Hearts. And then 5 or so months after I bought KH1 I bought KH2.

 

My mom got me CoM for Christmas. that's all.

 

KH1 commercial, then brother's friend, then several years later my friend's friend, then my friend let me borrow her game, saw AMVs, saw commercial thing for KH2 on Disney Channel (which sucked), then my friends got me KH2.

Alot of friends involved. xD

 

My neighbor had it and I when't to his house to watch him play it. A few years when I finally got a ps2 I bought it.

 

I found out when I went to my friend's house. Her little bro was playing and I saw Cloud in it and then I said: "I must get that game!"
Then, when KH2 came out, my sister bought it for me.
