to connect to the nintendo wi-fi on pokemon: Diamond, you need access to a wireless internet, if it has WEP security, you need to know the access code. from the title screen, hit start, and then go to the bottom option, "Connection settings" from there "Search for an access point" and click the desired connection. input the WEP password, and go to connection test. once it finishes you can go to the building in Jubilife City, and connect to the WFC.

thats not always it, I customized mine, its my home telephone number ^_^

A password you use on certain internet connections to access their signal. Ask your parents what you WEP Key is. They probably know. If they don't, ask your internet service provider.

There will be a WLAN switch on the DS, the Wii will probably have it built it, and youll need to buy a wireless router.

For the DS: Upload your DS game and somewhere in the game menu (if it is an online one) there should be the "wifi connect" or "wifi" menu option. Click on it, and it will take you to a screen that will say like "connect to wifi" or something like that.

You'll have three possible choices. Click any of them (it doesn't matter which) and click "search for signal" (or something along those lines). If the Wifi in your home/wherever you are is a free-wifi hotspot, it should appear. Then connect to it, let it test, and you're done. =)
