Maybe I'm just missing it, but I'm not seeing it. Under Arrange by, there's:
    • Folder (Default)
    • Album
    • Artist
    • Song
    • Genre
    • Rating

    Under Sort by, there's:
    • Name (Default)
    • Contributing Artists
    • Album
    • #
    • Title

Right now I'm doing it the long and hard way by manually adding numbers to the file name, such as:
    1. Song (3:34)
    2. Wax (4:21)
    3. Apple (5:16)

However, and especially if I have lots of files (e.g., 100+), I'd have to redo everything if I added more files to that folder, which would get tedious.

Then just sort by that column.

Where do you get that menu? Just by right-clicking?

Edit: Found it. Had to change the view from list to detail. Now is there any way to make that folder-specific? I'd only be ordering by length for things that don't already have an order (e.g., Kingdom Hearts) and are miscellaneous, such as my techno mixes.

Edit #2: Like, for video game soundtracks or soundtracks (and even unofficial video game soundtracks that are unofficially ordered by order of appearance), it wouldn't make sense to play, say, Spooks of Halloween Town as the fifth track or whatever, but for general music, it doesn't really matter.

I supposed I could go back and forth. Sort it by name (the default) so it goes by the number (1, 2, 3, etc.) when I listen to officially/unofficially ordered tracks and then sort it by length when I listen to things like techno mixes.

I don't know what program you're using to actually listen to music, but plenty of programs like WinAMP let you sort out your library by duration.

I just use Windows Media Player. That probably has the same function.

Okay, yeah. This is what I'm going to do as it's not that much of a bother, and I'm not sure yet, but it does look like you can apply it to individual folders.

@Karuta, you may lock this, my good man.
