I WAS BEING ****ING LEGITIMATE MAN. Every time he posted about his dates with this other girl, I smiled and it always made my day.

Oh my god you guys she's so great! I like her a lot and I really think she likes me too! We danced terribly at the Heroes Ball and later exchanged phone numbers. We also spent Sunday together and she let me sleep on her shoulder because she was worried about how I literally (literally literally, not emphasis literally) didn't get ANY sleep the night before. She's so sweet and nice and cool and her real hair looks so nice because it's all short and wavy and soft.

And then after the con I sent one text message to her to tell her my e-mail address and she texted back! And then I sent her a short thing through Swapnote to tell her that I'd e-mail her just to confirm that I got her text and then tonight, just before midnight, I e-mailed her again asking her what her birthday was, then kinda going into a ramble about how much it meant to me that she let me hang out with her at Matsuricon, then proceeded to ask her out while I was at it. But I never had any dates with that other girl. Except that one, but it was still just us hanging out like normal.
