"Thread?" The forum giggled through a malicious grin.
"My dearest cstar, you realize what happens to threads in the Spam Zone, don't you?" The disembodied voice adjusted its cadence and looped through its pitch as it grew closer to the moderator, the air sparkling with heat and fury.

 

Fury was filling cstar at his words, "Look I understand how spam zone threads go, I wanted to put this in the Playground but I didn't know if it would catch on."

 

On these words, the forum smirked.
"That is the curse of games when I am around," it said. "They will all die eventually, is that not so?"
The forum laughed. "Can you alone prove to me that your game will work out?"

 

Out of nowhere cstar just yelled, "No, this game is a team project. Projects involve multiple people sometimes and I cannot prove this to you alone."

 

"Alone you stand, however. People can be ever so fickle, will anybody come to your aid?"

 

Aids sure does suck.

 

Sucks to be you then, doesn't it?

 

It's really sad this had to go this way when we were doing so well.

Then the forum reach to its neck and grab hold of its skin. Pulling back, its "face" was revealed to instead be a mask! With the mask removed the forum's true identity was revealed.

Admittedly, I read last letter in the rule. It was like 8am and I hadn't slept yet.

I was trying to screw it up though.

 

Though maybe, just maybe, at a time far far from now, after numerous attempts, maybe in an alternative universe, it might just work.

 

And then Dio reached towards his neck and pulled back to reveal it was again another mask! And the imposter spoke...

It's like you've never heard of cosplay sex.

 

On this forum, is the destiny of its members controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that members have no control even over their own threads.

 

Cases like this do tend to do better in the playground but even then it is sometimes touch and go.
