I like a girl...

From what I've read so far (this might be obvious, but I'm going to point it out anyway) that you two are 'kind of' close; you both will talk to each other, but at the same time you two don't really hang out. I'd recommend you two try and hang out a bit for awhile before you try anything. Find out a little more about her and vice versa, basically being her friend.

Yeah that sounds cool, but my friend became friends with the girl he liked and she rejected him, saying lets just be friends

So Ven, you like a girl? You've known her for two years so that's a good start. Personally i think 13 is young to be like, "dating" but if ya really like this girl then you should try to build a good relationship with her. Think about the things you like about her. Does she have any hobbies or things she likes to do? You can talk about those things with eachother. Compliment her every once in awhile. A lot of girls also like guys who can make them smile or laugh. You seem like a really cool guy, so just be yourself and treat her with a lot of respect. Start learning Espanol faster than her so if you two get partnered up, and she needs help, you will be able to help her!

Believe it or not, being friends is actually a good start. I'm not saying you have go all out on being her friend or anything, but let her get to know just a bit more. It's more awkward for girls when it comes to dating than it is for guys, so it's best for her to know exactly who it is she might get involved with.
