i don't see anything wrong with that.

 

It's up to personal taste of course, but most of the outfits I see him in outside of Doctor Who are a little... awful. To me.

 

His outfit inside it is pretty bad as well, to be honest.

 

Oh I actually quite like Eleven's outfit, it suits him well. But again, personal taste.

 

But it is just so plain.

 

Didn't Smith have some input on the outfit? I also think that it's a little bad.

For a costume it's just as bad. You want it to stand out in some way or at least have some memorable quality that leaves an impression.

 

It stands out pretty well to me. The tweed jacket with a bow tie look isn't very common, and most other characters have very colorful outfits. Its plainness is what makes it stand out, at least to me.
