If Donald and Goofy battled each other, who would win?

Donald, being able to cure himself and use magic, he'd totally win. Although I do think if Donald didn't have the ability to cure himself, Goofy would kill him.​

 

Well, since I normally switch out Goofy whenever a world character (such as Mulan, Jack Sparrow, etc.) steps in, I'd say Donald would win. He can heal himself, he tends to defeat more Heartless, and in my opinion, magic is more effective than hitting someone with a shield.

 

Donald, manly because Goofy did nothing but die in KH and Donald has the ability to heal himself.

 

I think Donald would win if he doesn't waste his magic and uses it to cure himself when he needs it.But then again Goofy is pretty good with defense.And in the first game I would always switch out Donald.He died too quickly.But in the second one,the both of them actually fought heartless and nobodies and what not.​

 

Donald would win because he is very aggressive and seems to be more intelligent than Goofy even though he has a bad temper.

 

Goofy. He could probably block most of Donald's magic and just attack by throwing his shield.

 

I'd say Donald, becasue he has Cure of course, and if they both have potions, I think Donald's magic would still beat Goofy.

When I play KH1, it's usually Donald who dies first, though.

 

That's how the game balances it out. Donald is the stronger fighter, but has less HP, while Goofy defeats less enemies and has a longer health bar.

 

Donald besides having more wits would win because he is an aggressive fighter and more quick than Goofy whose attacks are quite drawn out and slow.

 

I'm gonna present a new theory. Donald and Goofy are both at low HP when Sepiroth comes in and kills them both!

 

Goofy would win! He has more strength then Donald and he doesn't die as fast as Donald...

 

Donald's magic can only last for so long. Goofy wold win.

Quick answer:
at start of game, definitely Goofy.
at end of game, definitely Donald.

Elaborate answer:
If it's with their initial settings, Donald wouldn't stand a chance (little HP and MP, does not have Cure, only Fire).

If it's late in the game, with all powered-up characters, then it would be a lot more interesting. Donald could cast Stopga on Goofy and bash him until the effect goes out, then repeat, use Aeroga to raise defense AND cause damage, Cure himself, use Gravija to wipe out Goofy's HP... there are many more possibilities.
