If you could go back ten years and tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

    Going back ten years and telling my 9-year-old self something sounds kinda pointless to me, since my 9-year-old self would have been too childish to understand what I mean. If it was 5 years ago instead, I'd tell myself not to get too emotionally attached to people you can't see in person regularly, since it's doing that which has led me to several heartbreaks.
    Of course, even then nothing would probably change. You can't help who you wind up liking until it's too late.

    Dear 16 year old Jube

    If you ever meet someone online by the name of Makaze and Loxare, be sure to tell them what the difference between a spelling mistake and a grammar mistake is.
    Also be sure to point out to them that if someone on the internet uses the word "liek" they actually mean "like" but are simply using internet lingo instead, because they're on the internet and people should know what internet lingo is.
    Show them a coherent list of some internet lingo, such as.....

    Like=Liek
    Have=Haz
    Know=knoe
    Was=wuz
    VIDEO = VIDYA
    GAME = GAEM
    BECAUSE YOU KNOW! IT'S NOT LIKE AN ADULT MALE WHO USES FIREFOX IN THE 21ST CENTURY WITH SPELLCHECK ENABLED WOULD PURPOSELY SPELL THE WORD VIDEO GAMES WRONG! AM I RIGHT!?
    AM I RIGHT!?

    I would go back and tell my seven year old self to get the raspberry blue bubblegum instead of the cherry.

    I'd tell the nine-year-old that he NEEDS to put every video game he owns in a special area (like a drawer) so he doesn't lose every awesome game he (I) used to own. Like Pokemon Blue, Red, Yellow, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Pearl, KH:Chain of Memories, KH1, Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon, Spyro 2, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII, Iridion 3D, and a hell of a lot more. I just can't remember the rest.
