If I had 3 wishes and I couldn't wish for more wishes, I'd wish that I could wish for more wishes, then wish for more wishes.

I hope that genie can match wits, because I will give him a fucking run for his money.

World peace, because without war technology is **** slow to advance.

 

I don't necessarily agree, but this isn't exactly the place for such a discussion.

 

War provides incentive, but we really don't require nuclear bombs and more efficient guns in everyday life. You'd be far better off wishing to get the world made into one nation, as that would allow progress to be made far more efficiently.

 

We can't "save the world" with the technology we have.
World doesn't really need that much saving, truth to be told.

And so you think that an advancement in technology - made during war - that could say...cure cancer, would not be worth the advancement?

 

Yes, I would agree that it would be worth considering. However there is a flawed link in your logic. While war does force technology to advance, it advances in the direction which war dictates. There is no need to cure your troops of cancer when they're being shot at every day, and you do more damage than can be repaired by a small step forward in technology. War causes progress, but in the wrong direction and at too great of a cost.

 

Eh well I could come up with an argument but my brain is shutting down.

So I'll just change my wish to "The thing I wouldn't wish for is PETA's continued existance".

What I would wish for is a meteor, an overly long katana and a years supply of shampoo to be used in one day. THEN SPROTHE WILL BE REBORN!

But what I wouldn't wish for is too much too list.

 

So we promptly use it to nuke Japan, because poisoning and killing millions is more important than becoming oil-free in times of war.
