define the term "ghost." Anything supernatural? Dead people who like to freak you out?

Assuming that you aren' t lying, which I shouldn' t do but will do anyway for the sake of the argument, how do you know they' re actually ghosts (as in the spirit or whatever of a deceased person) ? How do you know they aren' t mind-reading aliens ? How do you know you' re not just schizophrenic ? Etc, etc ...

I witnessed something pretty weird myself, but since I can' t test any hypothesis I haven' t jumped to any conclusion. I just don' t know what the **** it is I saw.
Well, assuming they weren' t (which again, you shouldn' t), from what I' ve seen their methods and reasoning don' t sound very scientific.
Grave Encounters is a cool movie though. ^^

    I'm a writer. So I'm certain I'm a socially accepted Schizophrenic.

I haven't actually seen a UFO so the jury is still out on if I accept the existence of aliens. However, I have to say that if life could develop on this planet Earth, then perhaps life could develop on some far off planet in much the same way. And if they're mind reading, I feel bad for them. Because my mind often confuses me.

I was a dumb teenager going into these supposedly haunted places and playing around with Ouija boards for cheap thrills. And I'm still dealing with the consequences of those stupid actions. I believe these things are out there. If person B doesn't want to believe, I'm not going to try and force it on them. Because it proves frustrating. I bring pictures, they discount it as a bug or dust or snow or the strap on the camera. I bring EVPs, they discount it as being interference.

For every piece of evidence I provide to try to show them that yes these things are here, even those that even I cannot explain, there's an explination provided by the skeptics on why it isn't a ghost.

I know what I see. I know what I hear. That's enough to give me peace of mind.

Precisely, trying to prove anything based merely on personal experience is an exercise in frustration for both parties. They merely point out that your conclusion is an argument from ignorance (and that is if they assume you' re not lying, which wouldn' t be scientific at all). You on the other hand get the feeling they treat you as a lunatic, even if they try to phrase it as politely as they can.

I can relate because, apart from that weird event I mentioned, I can experience that feeling the internet baptized ASMR. I don' t doubt that I feel it, I can even trigger it myself if I concentrate, however I haven' t jumped to any conclusion as to what it is. Occam' s razor says the explanation is probably medical, but apparently some people see it as proof of soul, God and whatnot.

I have no expierence with ghosts, and I'm not about to say that area of the supernatural interests me, but being religious I would be remissed to immediately discredit them as a possibility.

No, they recycle the URL every few hours to continue adding content, so the link won't work. it's temporary.

Recycling URLs? I haven't heard of that concept before. I just see the same URL on the same exact page over and over again. How should I tell the difference between the URL I just saw from the recycled one?

Amaury, just leave. Honestly, I've had it with you generalizing people like that and I'm sure wveryone else has too. No, we are not idiots for believing in something you don't. By that logic, you're an idiot because you don't like some of the stuff we do, get it?
