Hey, uh, SykeZ...

I have a few tips if you want to be liked on the net. They are not set in stone, but it certainly helps if you follow them.

1. On a forum, do not txt tlk. It just makes people like you more if you take the time to spell out the words.

E.g. "I read your post, c'mon, I am being nice. :(

2. Do not smilie abuse. Usually one or two in the post is enough to add flavor to it. Smilie abuse is worse when coupled with txt tlk, as it adds to the image of a noob. 'kay? :)

3. Do not call people noobs, or insult them. Chances are if you insult them and attack them, they can do the same back. If you are new, they can do more back.

4. Don't start using the spamzone until you have made some friends/got some posts to look respected. Perhaps post in the families forum to make friends.

I hope my small tips can help. It usually is difficult to get out of bad habits, especially when people just say Lol, n00b.

You may choose to try this, you may not. Whatever your choice, I can walk away knowing I have thrown out the lifeline.


To others:
Come on, give him a chance. Everyone was like this at some point, we made the effort to get out of that state, he deserves the same chance. I for one have decided to Rep him, simply so he can try to get better.
