Kingdom Hearts In KH1..

Well in KH1 how did that giant black hole get on destiny islands was it Kingdom Hearts? If it was where did it come from, maybe it was from when Master Xehanort summoned Kingdom Hearts, but then again that fight probably happened before that..well feel free to post

The giant black hole was there because Riku was coerced to open the door to darkness at the location by Xehanort's Heartless. It was either that or he was coerced to open the door to the island's Heart. Not sure exactly what door it is that is in the cave entirely. Once that was done though, the Darkside could come through and devour the world.

Also, yeah, your sig is really huge. You might want to shrink that quite a bit so that it doesn't reshape this topic section or others you post in.

Like kingdom hearts resides in the dark relm, I assume a worlds heart is surrounded by darkness.

i believe it was when ansem opened the door in the cave... then in the storm Riku called upon it which probably made the hole

Twas the darkness in Riku's heart that caused the portal to open.

 

I think Riku opened that black portal in the sky to the Realm of Darkness from his Darkside, and after he entered the Door to Darkness, Darkside ambushed Sora, but was defeated, anyway, you know the rest.

 

The door that Riku opened was the door to the Heart of the Destiny Islands... the Door to Darkness was in the Abyss, where you fight the World of Chaos...

 

No, it wasn't really Riku's Darkness that opened the portal. Xehanort (according to his own accounts in the fake Ansem reports) followed a Heartless he had let loose in the castle and found the door to Radiant Gardens Heart. He opened it having the ability to do so. He didn't even know what it was until he examined it and sought to answer what the Heartless wanted with it. When he did so, he connected the world back to interspace as they call it in KH and it became visible. After this, since the world was rejoined, King Mickey was able to travel there and talk to Ansem the Wise and Gummi Blocks appeared on the world which later when Mickey arrived, he explained what their function was. It was not until a bit later that Xehanort actually had the Heartless finish off much of that world and sent out droves of Heartless to interspace to go to worlds that were opened.

Riku was coerced into doing the same thing on Destiny Islands, opening the Heart of his world and connecting the world back to the pattern of things, as he was the Keyblade bearer intended. Being coerced didn't mean Riku did this out of using Darkness. He was merely duped because he wanted to leave. Once he opened the Heart of the World to interspace, Xehanort's Heartless (Ansem of KH1) sent Heartless through and the world was devoured. Riku was simply a needed tool to actually open up the Heart of the world so that the Darkness could take the world and further Ansem's plans. It was Ansem that caused the Heartless to go there and the portal from the Darkside appeared.
