There wasn't much for Ren to pack, truth be told. There was the small bundle that he had brought with him to the guild, and then another that contained everything that he had received since coming here: A few magic armlets, gaia bangles, and a new staff. He didn't really feel like taking them with them. They were heavy to carry, and he wouldn't need them anyway. Perhaps he'd be able to give it to someone in the guild who needed it more.
He was distracted by a small sound by the door, followed by rapidly receding footsteps. On the ground he found a note, containing the few words Mikasa had written. He smiled. Some sort of official sending off, a formality that Mikasa wouldn't be comfortable with. At least she'd taken the time to say something, so he silently thanked her.
Pocketing the note and gathering up his stuff, he left his room and headed for an exit. He was going to avoid the main hall and door, there were too many people around there, some of which would be overly curious. To that end he took the lesser corridors of the Guild, making his way down a narrow, winding stair to a side door. He took a moment to breath in deeply, and then opened the door.

To his surprise a young woman was standing right there at the door, apparently just about to enter the guild. Strange, Ren hadn't seen her before.
“Are you going in there?” he asked. She nodded with a bright smile. “You're part of the guild?” She seemed to take a moment to think about it, before nodding again. “Okaaaaay...” Ren continued, a little unsure. “Well, I'm leaving this place for a little while, so perhaps you could take this for me?” he said, handing her the bundle containing his magic armlets and other items. “At least until I get back.”
The young woman simply smiled wordlessly and accepted the bundle. Ren smiled back, somewhat puzzled, but too distracted by everything else to worry about it too much. “Well, see you then.”

He started to walk away, leaving the girl behind, when something struck him. He glanced over his shoulder back at her. There was something about the girl that was familiar, something about her smile. Strange, that one...

As Ren made his way through the guild, eyes glistened with murder from the shadows. Mizuki followed him silently, hand on her sword, waiting patiently for an opportunity to strike down her target. A simple surprise attack wouldn't be enough however. The mas was too powerful, too wary. However, if he was to mistake another person as a potential source of attack, then Mizuki could capitalize on that. This was what she waited for. And that opportunity was steadily becoming more likely as the target was seemingly leaving the building. The city would be a perfect place to kill him.
She tutted in frustration when he passed through the small side door. There weren't any windows for her to observe or exit through, so she would have to take the same door as him, which meant slowing down and waiting so that he didn't see her exit right after him. She waited thirty seconds, and then moved. A longer wait would have been safer, but she was impatient now. That man needed to die, and when he did, she could finally drop this charade of actually wanting to be a part of this fucking guild.

She was stopped right at the door by the entrance of a young woman. Mizuki stepped to the side to let her past, gesturing at the girl.
    “Move.”
    “Hello, Mizuki-chan,”
    smiled the girl.
Mizuki whipped around to face her, glaring at her confusedly. “How the fuck do you know my name?”
“Oh, sorry!” the girl exclaimed, seeming to realize that she had said something she shouldn't. “I forgot, Rennette hasn't met you yet. Let's start again.” The girl paused for a moment, and then smiled brightly. “Hello, my name is Rennette. Who are you?”
Mizuki was getting pissed with the girl now. “Drop it, you know my name already. How?”
The girl didn't seem to pay any attention. “Hmm, it's Mizuki right? Or maybe... um, Mi... Mi... Mikuzi, Mikuzu, Mukizi, Miziku. Mikizu? Muzki! What do you think?” Rennette asked, smiling.
Mizuki decided to dismiss the girl, and tried to push her out of the way. “I don't know who you are or how you know my name, and I don't care,” she snapped. “Just move.”
    “Mizuki-chan?”
“There is no fucking 'chan' in my name. Move,” Mizuki demanded, the threat clearly heard in her tone of voice.
Rennette sighed. “Fine, Rennette will compromise. Zuki it is!” She stepped aside and let Mizuki past. The warrior glared at her once more before continuing on out onto the street.

Rennette watched her receding figure for a few moments, before turning around with a smile, evidently pleased with something, and then skipped her way through the guild, to all appearances knowing where she was going. She arrived at the guild hall at any rate, and instantly made her way over to the moody young man.

“Hello!” Rennette smiled at Dale. “Rennette doesn't know your name, but you know hers now, so maybe you'll let her go on the mission with you. She needs something to occupy her time for a while.”

Having rid herself of that infuriatingly strange brat called Rennette, Mizuki had rushed out into the street, searching desperately for a glimpse of her target. Nothing. She raced down the street, not knowing if had gone in this direction or the opposite one, but she had no other choice but to leave it to chance.
Chance was not on her side today. No matter how many streets she raced down or how desperately she searched through the crowds, there was no sign of him. And it was all that damned girls fault. Storming back to the guild, Mizuki prepared to kill the bitch there and then. Yes, she'd kill her, and then search for the man. He would reveal himself before too long, and Mizuki would be there to end all of it. But first, that fucking girl.
Arriving at the main doors of the guild, Mizuki prepared to kick in the front doors, but then she stopped. Rennette, she had known Mizuki's name. She had also just passed Ren at the door. Was it possible that the two knew each other? Doubt and uncertainty clouded Mizuki's mind. Maybe she shouldn't kill her just yet. The bitch might know something useful. Maybe...

Opening the door quietly, Mizuki slipped into the guild hall, spotting Rennette almost immediately. She was already talking to the Dale guy, probably signing up for a mission already. Damn. Mizuki wouldn't be able to interrogate the girl just yet.
Instead, she would have to sign up for a mission as well. Not the same one as Rennette, because there was a chance she wouldn't be able to restrain herself from strangling the bitch halfway through the mission. Caliborn seemed to be leading one of the missions, so Mizuki decided to go with him. He was reasonably competent, to all appearances, so hopefully he wouldn't do something to piss her off. She was already pissed off enough.

Jack's pov: Woundered around the guild hall he spotted Ren. Wasn't he going to sighn up for a mission. It figured he ask Ren were he was going. He then watched as he left his room with his things. He then knew Ren was leaving. This was all Cal and Evenora fult. They let it happen. More so Evenora for letting Cal have that stupid mask. With Evenora on the guild meating he couldn't yell at her. He also couldn't yell at cal yet because of the missions were starting. He did care that Cal needed the mask to live. Evenora could have made the mask harmless with magic. He yell at them all after these missions were done. He was so mad they all get a peace of his mind. He then walked over to were the mission was still angry with the things going on. Then he notaced Alessia oh no. He didn't realize she was on this mission too. Maybe he could make everything up to her. He leave her be for now.

Amanda's pov: "Sorry we don't have time Lucia." She then left and went to were her mission was.

    Sara's pov:
She sat on her bed thinking. The noise of a door opening and closing was in the distance. It was probably some S-class member. "What magic? Questions that need answers." Talking to herself. She opened and closed her locket several times while she sat on the bed. Then there it was again a door opening and closing. What was going on? She opened the locket one more time pilled out the paper and looked at both sides. There was still nothing on it. she folded it and then put it pack in the locket. She looked at the picture of her younger self. How did that man get that picture? She felt like she may never know. She then looked at the picture of the man. She closed the locket. "I have something to fight for. It is no longer about money. It is all because of you. I hope happiness and what you really want comes your way." There was more opening and closing of doors. This was the third time. What was going on? Everyone should be on a mission. Why were there girls up here? It was strange for a S-class member to be going in and out of the room that many times. How to find the answer? She opened the door to her room. She then looked down the hall. The door was closing to Mikasa's room. What was the woman doing? She was up to something. Oh well. She made her way to the guild hall feeling a bit better. She was walking up to Johanna and she was saying 'I hope you brushed up on your royal manners.' "I hope you are joking." she said. The look on Johanna face said she was not joking. No not a royal family. She did not know if she could put up with this. She felt like she might throw up. The royal's always thinking that they were better then everyone else just because they had money. She left Johanna and headed to the mission board no, no, no, no. This could not be. She had go somewhere else. Any were but some stuck up royal mission. She looked at the job board and her heart sank no. Darn ugggh. Every mission was full every spot there was a name no room anywhere else. How was this possible. She felt like she might throw up. Well it looked like she did not have a choice were she was going now. She hated this. She made her way back to Johanna. "How do the royal people treat the guards? What are they like?" She felt like she knew what the answer would be, but she asked anyways. Hopefully the royal family would not be as bad as she thought this was doubtful.

"Ah, I see. The random hand of fate delivers us to strange places does it not? I am sorry to hear of your family. I have heard them mentioned by my father in the greatest regard." Vance replied. She didn't say how, but I should think that it was something to do with her magic. This Ezekiel person promised a solution, but I wonder... Did he ever manage to help her? Or is she still... Unstable? No matter, I do not think she'll do me harm. She and I cut off the same cloth as it were, some of the few who are here. He couldn't help but notice the way she carried herself held a subtle aura of embarrassment, perhaps a sign she was uncomfortable with or indeed ashamed of her past. It was of no consequence to him. He also couldn't help but notice that people were milling about getting work. It looked like it was that time again. "What happened is in the past, Thea- If I may call you that. Let it lie there now. Now then, it looks as if we are getting work. I must get some myself. It has been nice talking to you, we shall speak again some time. When? Well that is a matter of whether we are on the same job or not." With that, Vance strode over to... Him? What do you want, I wonder. Driven by his curiosity, Vance approached Zephyros. Turns out, it sounded just up his street. A lady to marry, a competition and money. He smiled to himself. You thought you were punishing me father? Actually, it sounds quite the opposite. I can make quite the fortune here. Not to mention achieve something for the family.
"I'm in." Vance stated, putting his hands on the table and looking at Zephyros. "When do we leave?"

Caliborn walked up to Cal and the group surrounding her as she explained the mission to them. As soon as she finished speaking, he spoke himself.
"Yes, and I shall supervise your mission. You're not able to go by yourselves just yet, so I'll be taking you. You're new wizards, you're not quite ready to handle all the dangers of the world by yourselves." For emphasis, he shifted into mist body and back into normal. "And sometimes, there are things that I can do that you can't quite yet."

Alessia heard Cassandra's call to arms and made her way over almost immediately. She needed to do something to help people and she was going to no matter what. And it was important enough to worry an S-Class. That was enough for her to know that she had to get involved here. She'd need to do something to make a difference.
"I'll come Cassandra." She said, putting a hand on her sword.

Boreal fixed the puppy with a wave of his hand and hardened the ice that it was made out of. It was more tiring for him and completely unnoticeable, but Derk wouldn't be able to break it now. He had a feeling he was going to need an awful lot of patience and the puppy had to survive a lot. This was going to be a long, long day.
"There, all fixed." Boreal said. Wait, that is an idea... What if I used the puppy as leverage against Derk? Yes, maybe I could negotiate something, a way out for me perhaps. Free rein at least. I'd be able to get out of this damn tower and explore the guild a little, wouldn't that be good? Of course, that's risking his temper but then again, the other voice Trevor won't let him have one so it's this or nothing. I'll try that soon...

After an extremely long nap, Scarlett was refreshed and ready to take down another mission. Things had gone okay on the last one, but if she wanted to climb her way to the top she would have to stand out a lot more to the S-Class. As her eyes scanned the mission board, multiple choices proved interesting. Her first choice would have been to go on Dale's mission, since he was her only half-sorta-not really friend here. Unfortunately, it looked like Scarlett would be making some new "friends" this mission because his slots where all full. Settling for Caliborn's instead, Scarlett began her way over to where he was standing. A few other figures where already there. The peppy, and extremely annoying, Calxiyn girl was there as well as a female figure Scarlett didn't recognize. Walking straight up beside her, Scarlett spoke towards Caliborn. "When do we get to start going on missions alone?" She asked calmly, curiousity filling her voice. I mean, sure it's nice to have s few people to pick up the slack for a bit, but I work alone. I don't need other people. Although she certainly acted that way towards others, Scarlett was still working on covincing herself of this.

Mikasa headed down stairs after remembering that she had to still work at the bar. She went up to it and gave a quick nod to some of the regulars. She then noticed Edric. "Hello. How are you today, Edric?" She asked him, her voice still her usual monotone. She felt defended because of what happened with Hasu, but she decided that it couldn't hurt to take Caliborn's advice.

"Ahm queet alreet thanks fer askin' Mikasa. How aboot ye?" Edric asked, his accent coming through pretty thick. He wasn't used to her being so polite, but he didn't complain. It was nice to hear her being civil. "Can ya get me the usual? You knoo the one I like." He waited for her to pass him along the drink.

"You're enthusiastic to be sure, but not ready yet. There's a lot of danger out there. Part of the reason I'm coming with you is to see how everyone handles themselves in the field. When you're ready we can send you out on your own Scarlett, but for now you'll have to wait." Caliborn answered. "Any questions? I'll be happy to answer anything you have now while we can. If you have anything else you want to ask me, then go right ahead."

Quinn listened from across the room to what their seer was saying. Evidently, she needed strong wizards to go on an important job. Well, he did need the money, and apparently he had a thing for Cassandra according to Cal...Yeah that was probably never going to have anything become of it, or probably ever be mentioned again or really even considered canon. But according to Cal, it was a thing. She ships it. If her ships were actual ships, she'd have the largest navy the world has ever seen. Seriously. That girl had way too many romantic fantasies.

But yeah he stood up and walked over to Cassandra.
"I'll join you. You said it was important and you needed strong people right? Besides, it'll be a good chance for me to see how the new members handle themselves." Quinn said to her. He turned to wait for all those that would be joining them on their new job.

Beucette walked up to Caliborn, standing ready to lead a mission. "Yo. OOC thread says i'm supposed to talk to you or cal. Given Cal's probably kinda pussy whipped from her time with the bird man, figured you'd be the one to talk to." The white haired girl said to him. "Aight so what're we doing? Looking for some kind of magic artifact or what?"

Aias walked up to Zeph and stood in silence. He would be going on this mission. He looked at his newly branded guild emblem on the underside of his wrist. He'd obtained it after he joined the guild from uh...totally kicking Johanna's ass off screen. Yeah. That's what happened.

Aoki had looked to Zephyr as he told her to inspect the key. Looking at the golden thing, she wondered just what this kind of thing was. It seemed to have some sort of odd engraving on it, though she wasn't entirely sure what it was. However, it certainly had her interest, and thus she wanted to inspect it more. However, it had seemed that the time to do missions was already upon them once more. As such, she had to go and get ready. "I don't really know what this key is, but it is pretty similar to my own. I'll have to check it out some more later." She then turned to Conrad and bowed respectfully as she lifted herself from her seat as she said, "I'm really sorry that we're getting interrupted again. But it looks like departing is happening now, so we'll have to continue later." Waving to him, she walked off to where one of the missions was taking place. Seeing two of their S-Classes their, she just waved and said, "so, what's the mission here?"

Rho had silently gotten up from the table he had been sitting at as time to leave was upon them. He had noticed that the silver haired girl had said something odd, and his suspicions about her were mostly affirmed. Nevertheless, he didn't really need to bother with that at the moment. No. There were more interesting things going on here that he had to attend to. Walking over to the ever changing gender person, he noticed Zephyros and said, "oh, a job you say?" He was quite interested in this job and it had appeared to be a part of some sort of marriage contest. Well...Rho apparently had some experience being put on show for a female, as he had just been put on some impromptu Dating Show. Though, there was something odd about this man. Specifically, how he had seem to come in here and draw as much attention to himself as possible, despite not being a real member of the guild, so much so he had tried to escape from one of the S-Classes prior to this job. Nevertheless, he'd just keep that under tabs for now as he simply said, "well then, I suppose I am in for this."

Lucia had felt that this conversation with Amanda was going virtually nowhere, though she had seen that she seemed to want to get something off her chest. As she was about to inquire in on that, Amanda had left as job hunting time had come about. Well, she'd probably be able to work it out herself. It was job hunting time after all, and she needed to go get herself a job...and so the hunt was on. The very long trying hunt of hearing yell something out about one and simply going towards that noise. A valiant, noble, and rigorous quest her brief unemployment had been. And so, she walked over to Caliborn and noticed her party members were....them. Scarlett, who she had recently warmed up to, and....her. Lucia, standing a fair bits away from Beucette, Lucia asked, "so what're we doing here boss?"

Alas there was no time to talk and as Aoki bowed so did he as a sign of mutual respect "
It is alright, I am sure we will find a more suitable time to talk" He said and waved back as she walked away. "Time to get going for me as well" He mumbled to himself He looked to Zephyros and noticed Vance was there, the man would probably tell him he wasn't acting like nobility the way he was, but in his opinion nobility was just a blank label to be filled in in one's own way within reason of course. He walked over soaking up all details regarding the mission. So there was a lady to marry. That ought to consolidate the von Eisensteins position within the nobility, eventhough he wasn't the firstborn such a marriage would obviously improve their standing. Though he did feel conflicted about the contest as if a Lady were a trophy to be won in a contest, he felt a bit sick inside when he thought about it. Last time he voiced his concerns like these they were simply thrown out of the window and he didn't expect anything else to happen. Zephyros seemed to be more concerned abou the money than the Lady and that too was wrong in his eyes, but his concerns remained unspoken as he simply looked at Zephyros and nodded "Sounds like something for me, I'm in."

Since it was agreed that they sound start heading back to the guild, Leo started to do just that. They had arrived back at the guild not taking to much time to get back there. Entering the guild hall, Leo noticed that it was starting to look like people were starting to head off. While it was a good thing that they had gotten back when they did, Leo had no idea whether or not that he was suppose to be helping out on one of these missions on not. The quickest way to find out would be to ask someone, so he tried to see if he could find where Johanna was.

"Do you need me to help out with this mission?" Or any mission really. Leo didn't really mind where he was sent to help out at.

Admist the commotion of people going to their respective places for the missions of their choices, another person had entered the guild hall. She was a blond haired girl dressed in purple armer while carrying a sizable shield on her back with ease. Due to the power of magic~, she knew exactly where to go for first and headed towards where Caliborn was and spoke. "Excuse me, am I suppose to speak with you if I want to join along with you guys?"

Zephyr had quietly waited as Aoki examined the key that he was holding. She'd given it quite the look over before speaking. She didn't know much about the key either, but she too was curious about it as well. Since she didn't have an answer as to what it was right now, he went ahead and put the key back into his pocket. "Alright, I'll be sure to keep it safe." Not sure if his pocket was a safe place, but he's yet to be pick pocketed or lose anything in his pockets yet. With that taken care of for the time being, it was time to sign for a mission so Zephyr walked over towards the one that had caught his interest. The first thing that he noticed upon getting there was that with the exception of Aoki, he knew none of the people that he would apparently be working with. Hopefully that would mean this mission would have a better start than the Everlue one.

"Thank you my lord." Thea said politely as Vance closed the conversation. She knew that she had to go on a ob herself but she didn't feel safe going on a job already, not after the bow up of the last job. Thea listened closely as she heard the different guild members call out their jobs. It sounded like there was one that had no fighting, however it was a contest for marriage, something Thea wasn't about to take part in. That being said Thea was not to concerned about money, it meant nothing to her at that age and she knew when she was older and the appropriate age that she had her fathers entire wealth and business that would be hers, but her dad had told her that nothing that was his would ever belong to her until she was eighteen at least and old enough to handle the responsibility of it.

Thea approached Zephyros seeming rather shy. She had noticed that Vance had come over here too and she didn't want to look like she was following him but what other choice did she have. "Excuse me?" Thea said to Zephyros as she clasped her hands behind her back. "Do you mind if I come watch? I don't want to go on the other missions because last mission I accidentally got upset and lost control so I don't want to do anything that could equal me hurting someone. I promise I will be really good. I know how to act with nobility and royals, my daddy and mamma taught me how to act properly." Thea explained herself. Thea just hoped the answer would be yes or else she didn't know what to do with herself. Besides a friendly dating show would be plenty of fun to watch.

Silvia followed Leo back staying pretty quiet the entire time not really knowing what she should say or if she should speak at all. When they got back to the guild hall, everyone was there and they were all heading off on missions again. Silvia was slightly disappointed that they didn't get more of a break, so much work to do and she never got a chance to ask Caliborn about if he had thought of anything around the guild she could do to make her herbal medicine practice useful. Oh well. Silvia decided that instead of going with Caliborn she would stick with Leo a little longer, and he was offering to help to Johanna who was rather nice. "I hope you don't mind I will come on the mission with you Leo." Silvia asked quietly as she looked over at Johanna. "Am I okay to come with you? Do you need my help?" Silvia asked not wanting to make anyone feel like they needed to take her.

"Yay!" Derk cheered as Boreal fixed the puppy. He stood up and began to run around getting the puppy to follow him. Derk then had a great idea in his mind and picked up his great sword holding it out horizontally. "Jump puppy Jump." He ordered it. He watched the puppy jump a few times then tried to raise the sword up a little higher for it to jump over... while it was in the middle of jumping. "Oops. Sorry puppy!" He said as the sword made contact. However then he decided that he was bored of playing with the puppy anyways and grabbed his sword looking for something he could start to cut with it. He walked to a near by curtain in front of one of the windows and began to sing the song he was before as he swung the great sword at the curtain, shredding it.

Mission of the Utmost Importance: On the train

"Thank you Quinn, I look forward to working with you." Cassandra gave him a strong nod. "Move out team!"

The group was let onto the train as Cassandra knew they would. They were in their own Train Car, and before she spoke Cassandra looked around to make sure they were really alone.

"Now, let me give you some more information about the mission, and after this and a bit of Q&A you're free to talk amongst yourselves. I came to know something was going on after I had a vision of a wizard named Erigor. While I was out I was also able to hear the discussion of the Eisenwald Guild Members, as well as members from the Riders of the Desert Guild. They're both dark Guilds. Eisenwald is planning something evil with an item called Lullaby, while the Riders are looking for something else, what that is I cannot say. I wanted to head straight for Eisenwald, but since I cannot take a whole guild on alone, I asked for your help." She stopped for a breath. "Any questions, comments?"

    The Contest: Hargeon Town

As much as the idea of a little girl coming with them worried Zephyros, there wasn't much to do in order to stop it. Groaning, Zephyros spoke. "Yes, yes anyone is welcome."

The group traveled to Hargeon town, and stopped in front of the ports. "Alright everyone, let's go find the-" Zephyros stopped. Looking over, one could see a boat surrounded by the soldiers that protected the village"Well, there goes our mode of transportation. Now you guys have a new job, find a boat."

    Journey to Sian: Hargeon Town

"It doesn't say anything about what we have to go collect or do." Calxiyn had felt fine until Beucette got here. Now she felt slightly sick. "Hey guys! You're both just in time." She told Lucia and the new girl. She did hear, however, Caliborn saying for them to get going. She then realized they were back in Hargeon town, and they would remember her. She hid promptly behind Caliborn. "Hey, aren't those the other people from the guild?" Calxiyn asked, seeing Thea. "The boaters don't like us after what happened with Galuna, maybe we should ask the other group if we can share a boat with them. I'll be surprised if we can even get one person to take us, never mind two boats."

    Kingdom of Elamos: Carriage

"I'm so happy to have you both, Silva, Leo." She gave them both a small smile.

"Ms. Johanna! Your carriage is ready!"

    "Shall we go?"

Once they rode away from the Guild, Johanna started to speak again.

"To give some of you a bit of background, since some of you joined late, I'm going to talk about the Kingdom a little bit. After I'm done feel free to talk amongst yourselves." She paused. "The Kingdom is bankrupt after all of their gold in the Kingdom mine ran out. They're in great poverty. By marrying they're able to keep the Kingdom afloat. Now, they think whoever took the gold is controlling the guards, but they have no proof. We might do a bit of investing while we're there, but since magic is at fault for everything going wrong they're a little bit wary of wizards. Questions, anyone?"

    Guild Hall:

    Ander's pov:
As he layed on the ground of the guild hall colors and thoughts crossed his mind. He opened his eyes. Then he sat up. No one bothered to help him. He could not say he blamed them. He was kind of forgettable. He thought and decided what he was going to. If he was really that forgettable then no one would really miss him. He got up and felt weak uggh oh well. The first thing he would do was go to his room. Wait he never went into his room. Oh no, all of the good beds were probably already taken. What ever it really did not matter. He walked towards the rooms. There was something odd, he could not put his finger on it. He walked to his door and opened it and.... "What is going on." he said not that anyone could here him. On the only bed that was not clamed was a cat. His bed had a cat on it. Uggh, he guessed he would have to take care of this thing. It looked like the thing had not eaten or had any water since it was put in the room. He looked around the room for the first time. There was a large book shelf with many books. He then scanned them and pick out one with the name Curses and the effects. He opened it up and skimmed it. He left the book open on the desk and headed for the door. "I will be back" he told the Cat. He left the room shutting the door behind him. He made his way through the guild. He made his way to a side door. It was left unlocked, how odd he thought. He did not think that the side doors to the guild were ever used. He left through the door propping it open. He made his way to town finding a local pet store and bought various things for the cat in his room. Once he had what he needed he went back the way he came. He went through the door he left open and shut and locked the door as he made his way back to his room. He opened the door to his room and gave the cat food and water. He left the bag of food by a wall. He then left the room shutting the door behind him. How could some one do something so mean to a cat? Well whoever it was he was not happy with. He made his way to the guild hall not caring if anyone saw him or not. The look of defeat on his face. Now what he thought. He made his way to the train station. Unknown to him he got on the same train as Cassandra and company. He took a seat and look out the window. He was sitting in the same train cart as Cassandra and did not even know it. Then he heard a familiar voice....

    Ander's pov:
He made his way over to the voice. "Cassandra?" What was she doing here? It looked like he was not going to get away that easy. "I am guessing we are taking on a other dark guild again." He thought for a moment. "I guess I will help you." It was not like he had something better to do. "I thought attacking another guild was not aloud." He thought for a moment more "I have a question, but it is not the time for it." His voice suggesting he wanted to talk privately to Cassandra.

    Sara's pov:
She took a seat on whatever transportation they were taking. "Maybe the royal family having no money will be a lesson to them." They would know how it felt not to have any money to struggle. She thought for moment. "There must be some clues in the mine, perhaps we should head there first."
She felt strangely comfortable with Johanna, hum how odd.

"Well, it'll be interesting to see how everyone handles this one. Mikasa and I didn't have much success, although perhaps that was because it was Mikasa." He smiled to himself lightly. The comment wasn't made to be offensive, just the truth of the matter. Sometimes, that girl needed to learn a bit of respect and manner, it'd get her far in life. It would certainly make it easier for everyone to deal with her. He folded his arms and wondered what the others were doing exactly. He supposed there would be a good reason for it, although he'd make a point of asking someone. Something seemed a little suspicious here, and he couldn't quite place it. There wasn't another S-Class over there, so what were they all doing? And who was that person over there that the others were with...?

    The Contest

"You might have brought us on this job, Zephyros but I'll remind you that you are not in charge of me or anybody here. But you are right, we do need a boat." Vance said sharply. With that reminder of his place, Vance walked away from the impertinent Zephyros to go find themselves a boat. The situation was as dire as it appeared. However, he had something most of the other people didn't. Status outside of this Guild. Nobody said no to a Noble for long, and certainly not a Dorian. He walked over to a relatively large ship that could comfortably carry them, completely detaching himself from the Guild for now. They wouldn't have noticed him coming in with them, so it would all check out. He held himself high, as he so often did and arrived at the group of soldiers appearing every inch the noble that he was. He cleared his throat and addressed them.
"Good day to all of you. I wish to speak with the ranking officer here." Vance stated crisply, not requesting but demanding in the way that lords did. When the man did emerge, he continued. "I am Lord Vance Dorian. I seek passage on this ship for myself and my retinue. This ship is sufficient for my needs and I would have passage." He made sure to look at each and every man at least once before returning his gaze to their leader.

She listened intently to the information Cassandra was given them. She was more determined to go find these people now. A Dark Guild was bad news, and whoever this Erigor was and whatever he wanted with this Lullaby surely had no good intentions. After the failure at Parthenia, there could be no room a second failure. They had to find out what this Erigor wanted and quickly, so that he couldn't use it to harm anybody. That would be unacceptable. Nobody else could be hurt again. It seemed that Ander was also on this train. Seemed he got on the same one, strange. Life has an odd way.
"I should hope you'd help us. People are in danger." Alessia reminded. Honestly, how could he consider not? In fact, why didn't he sign up for something in the first place? "Anyway, I think once a Guild is declared a Dark Guild they're a public enemy and open to attack. Obviously most don't, it's dangerous. But we can do it. Is that right, Cassandra?"

This ki- Gu- Kid was mad. He clearly had something wrong with him that gave him a poor attention span, not to mention something else that gave him a fondness for cutting up things. Including inanimate objects. Mikasa was going to be so happy when she found her curtains ruined like that. Wait, maybe she wouldn't care. She might also shred the curtains. He probably ought to talk to the guy before he decided that he was some kind of doll rather than a human being. If it came to it, then he had the perfect distraction- The puppy.
"Nice weapon." Boreal noted. It was in fact, a good weapon. "I'd wager that I can probably make an Ice Blade like it."

He had not noticed the others were here. When Alessia spoke he was a bit surprised. He thought for a moment was going to say something, but did not. Start somewere. "Alessia good to see you." He spoke in at tone like something was bothering him. "I do not know...." his voice trailed off. He was not sure what to say. "How can I..." how could he help people when he himself needed help? "You are right Alessia, I do not know what I was thinking." he voice was different then before more happy but sounding weak at the same time. She reminded him of someone. "Life is a mystery sometimes. Always helping. That what the guild is about." he said with a smile. There was something about a lullaby. "What can you tell me about Lullaby?" he asked Cassandra

"You're correct, Alessia. Dark Guilds are seen as criminal organizations. They're not like legal Guilds." Cassandra paused. "I know nothing of Lullaby. It's an object of immense dark power, that's all we know about it. Anything else?"

"We don't want to serve any more of you damn Wizards!" One of the boat man yelled. Another threw an apple at Vance, though it didn't hit.

"Dorian!" Another one was shocked. "My lord I'm so sorry for our crew, they're not feeling very well... you know, been out at sea for a while. Of course we'd be glad to take you wherever you need to go."

"Nice work Vance." Zephyros gave him a nod.

Calxiyn blinked as Vance got a boat with ease. "Wow that was impressive. Too bad we don't have anyone like Vance." She muttered to herself.

Johanna was surprised at Sara. "It isn't the royal family, it's the Kingdom itself. If the Kingdom is bankrupt, all of their people will die. Surely you can see that this is in no way a 'lesson', this could be life or death." Johanna continued. "The mines are dangerous, so I don't think we'll be going in there regardless. Plus, our first stop is the village. The Prince's teacher, Samantha, is going to to met us in the town square, so even if we were going in the mines we need to head there first."

It was a shame that she didn't know anything else about this Lullaby thing that they heard about. Lullaby... It was something to do with sleep. You sang a lullaby when you wanted someone to go to sleep so... Maybe it was some kind of sleeping spell? Something that could put someone to sleep instantly? It was dangerous in the wrong hands. Good for thieves, or murderers, the sorts of people that Dark Guilds were made up of. When asked for other questions, she thought of something else. There was Erigor, wasn't there? The dark wizard that she mentioned. Maybe that would tell them more. Like, which guild he was from, or even just recognising him if they saw him.
"What about Erigor? What does he look like? And what should we do if we see him?" She asked. The obvious answer was to attack. They'd need to work as a team to do that. Whoever he was, she had no doubts about how powerful he was. After Ezekiel, and Parthenia... They couldn't afford to take any more big risks. Leviathan died, Eric died. No more deaths. Not again.

"Hmm, I didn't expect that to work." Caliborn raised an eyebrow as the arrogant young man got a boat. He knew the boy was noble, and he couldn't hear exactly what was said but given the looks on their faces and the way he held himself, it was likely that he dropped the family name and that was that. Hopefully they would think to offer them a place on the ship. He had a feeling that they were going to have a lot of trouble finding another ship. He suspected that some of the people here might be quite surprised to find that there was such great anti-wizard sentiment. It was disturbingly common and incidents like these did nothing to help the situation. "It seems that a name carries you quite far in the world. I've never seen it demonstrated so aptly. Let us hope that they don't decide to throw out the nobility any time soon, otherwise our guild might have yet more issues. And a civil war."

"Lullaby, my mom use to sing a lullaby to me when I was younger. To get me to sleep." He seemed sad when he mentioned his mom. "A song. How can a song do any damage? It seems kinda harmless. What would a dark guild want with a song? Lullaby is for sleep so a sleeping spell? But that does not make any sence, sleeping spells are rare thing. They are only rumored to be around, but there is no proff of a spell like that." He rubbed his head for a moment. "Eisenwald Guild what do you know about them." On his travels he knew a little about dark guilds, but he wanted to know what Cassandra knew.

"Well sorry, but the only thing I know about royals is that all they care about is money. The people like them could care less about the people that live there." She thought if for a moment. "If they are really any different then the countless royals I have heard about then they need to show it. Action changes peoples minds. Show me how they are different. Show me they care, because that is all I seen." She was getting angry, but her voice did not show it, clam your self Sara. "What can I do?" She was somewhat clamer now. She was trying to be a different person, but so far it was not working.
