    Is it possible to uninstall it?

    Yes, but you shouldn't. Uninstalling Internet Explorer likely will break Windows Update and could, potentially, inhibit other program's functionality. Removing it from your system will free up minimal space and won't speed things up at all. Best to just leave it be and use a different browser.

    Yeah, Mozilla Firefox is my browser, and I sometimes use Google Chrome.

    The only reason I wanted to remove it was because I don't use it, but I won't since you said it causes problems. (And I guess that's why it's not listed in the "Uninstall a program" area, haha!)

    This can be locked. :)

    You cant deleted it. you can turn it off in windows features. Control Panel>Add and Remove Program>Turn Windows Features on and off
