A lot of people who do nothing but QQ about the site really need to ask themselves this.

 

Trig is a cool guy and all but he was staff for like what? A month? And got banned.
I can't really say that's doing a very good job.

I agree partly with this. If he was so mad about Kayleah being regarded with respect, he should have acted as a responsible staff member and deal with things differently. I can't judge him on how good a person he was (All I know is he was staff), but I can say that he just tipped the glass over.

I am being completely serious here when I say that KH-Vids is far and wide one of the least comprehensive Kingdom Hearts websites right now, and that your site has hardly anywhere to go but down from this point on.

You are completely overshadowed by superior sites, and your potential for growth is essentially on life-support. Other sites are moving past you exponentially and a stagnation of members is inevitable, not simply because there is little reason for people to come here, but also because the people who do come here are pushed away by present/veteran members.

KH-Vids isn't simply gonna "die" as in no one is going to be here anymore, but people will slowly realize that they only feel the need to be here because fellow veteran members are keeping them around, because otherwise the site is going nowhere. All it takes is a few key members to leave, and most people will find it not worth staying any longer.

 

In all seriousness, kh-vids is a small community forum, nothing more, nothing less. It's not supposed to be the next "Something Awful", all sites centered around a single game eventually die out unless that game is an online game.

 

That's actually how most sites die out, it's never really that whole sudden KHV is dead thing.

And I honestly can say, uhm, when was the last time you checked the homepage? xD Because the last time I did was when I had my second name change...when I first hit premium? xD

btw, im surprised this thread has reached 4 pages without a staff locking it.

 

If you stay only in the spam zone then that's true.

 

Ctr was a great staff member, she really did loads for the site. I don't know how trigger was as staff, but there is no way he belongs in the category of one of the greatest staff members ever. As far as i can see, nobody who was added on staff at all in the past year deserves that title, at least not yet for those added in this time who are still staff.

The site is definitely going downhill, but the recent drama is certainly not the cause. There's drama like this every once in a while and every time people are like OMG I HATE THIS SITE THE SITE IS DYING BAHHHHHHHHH for a bit, then they forget until the next time. its just how it is on here. Eventually it will die, but it won't be all abrupt or after some huge event. Its dying a slow, prolonged death.
