    about the Deathly Hallows movie. I haven't seen it yet, but I was reading my newspaper and, well, I read the books and (spoilers for movie that I got from the paper)
    did Harry and Hermione ever kiss? I read the books, but I don't remeber anything mentioned about them kissing. I do remeber the part where it gets all steamy with him and Ginny, so what the hell? Also, according to the newspaper, theres going to be some kind of 'sex' in the movie. OH! and Dobby dies.

    The only scene in the entire series that made me tear up</3

    ...i'm tearing up just thinking about it. I don't think I want to see that happen on the big screen;~;

    Oh, I completely forgot about that part. It kind of caught me off guard probably because I haven't really read it since January. This is from the article by the article said: "Daniel Radcliffe was expecting a tender embrace when it came time to kiss co-star Emma Watson in the new 'Harry Potter' film. What he got was torrid necking, Watson working magic with her lips 'like an animal' he said."

    That was the saddest part of the entire books. It's going to be wierd for some movie goes who've only seen the movies. He's in every book after his appearance, but seeing him so suddenly after a LONG absence from the movies will be a little confusing for them.

    After Ron goes psycho from wearing the locket too often and leaves, it's just Harry and Hermione going around, and something unique definitely passes between them, but no, their relationship never gets physical. Rowling has said that she's always seen the Harry/Hermione relationship as a brother/sister relationship.
    There is however, after Ron has left, he comes back and rescues Harry from drowning in the lake (which he dives into to get Gordic's Sword, which can destroy horcruxes). They decide to destroy the locket together, Harry prying it open and Ron stabbing it with the sword. Because it's Voldemort's horcrux and horcruxes are very dark magic, there's that built-in defense that we saw in Half-Blood Prince (Dumbledore is weakened by the water he has to drink). As Ron goes to stab the locket, it shows to him his biggest fear--Hermione choosing Harry over him. So yes, in that illusion, Harry and Hermione kiss, but the real Harry and Hermione never do.

    As for sex, I don't remember that at all in the book. o__o I wouldn't be shocked if they made the Harry/Ginny scene go a little further than it did in the book.

    I do feel that because it is Hollywood, the Harry/Ginny thing will probably go a little further than it was described. Still, damn! That scene was still kind of steamy for a kid's book. I would love to see the reaction from Ron portrayed in the movie.

    Dunno yet, though I'm wagering it'll be when Ron walks out.

    Man, tears ran down my eyes when I read Dobby's death... I just couldn't believe it, and the way Harry dug a grave for Dobby by hand, and not with magic... Man, so deep. I had not shed a tear for a long time till that hit me. Felt good, but still, sad.

    Even though Dobby dies in this one.

    Anyway, my bet is it'll be around the time they break into Gringotts, probably slightly before.

    I was kind of meh on that scene. |:
    I did get teary eyed after Fred died though. ;___; By far though my favorite part was when Ron and Hermione finally kiss. That whole war was pretty rad.

    Are you bullshitting me? All the emotion, the drama that was happening, and then Dobby comes to save Harry and his pals? And RIGHT when Dobby teleports, he gets stabbed... I mean, how could you freaking be MEH? WTF, you heartless evil *******. *Lol, just kidding Mist. Still ;-;

    I admit that I did shed a tear at Fred's death though... Fred dies, right? Man, it's crazy when you look back at the first books of Harry Potter. At first when Harry is a kid things seem happy, but once he starts growing up, things get worse and dark.

    I actually didn't really like the final book. The Horcrux thing was a pain. Collection missions are for Deltora Quest, not for HP. The ridiculous number of deaths that weren't dealt with didn't help. Dobby's death was done relatively well. Dumbledore's definitely was. However Fred's, Hedwig's, Lupin's and Tonk's not so much. We didn't so much as get a funeral for them. Just a line, "they're buried over the hill". Pretty disappointing, and not at all worthwhile.

    Oh I mean it's sad and all, but I just didn't have a crazy love for Dobby ever. I think the saddest thing about Fred's death is George... I mean Fred is his twin. ;___;
    I think Fred's was excellent. o:
    Hedwig's death symbolized the lost of Harry's childhood innocence, it wasn't meant to be a bohoho let's have a funeral death.
    It's also said that Tonks's and Lupin's deaths were so glossed over to reflect how quickly death comes; especially in a war, death is swift. You don't have time to mourn the loss of people, you have to fight (or run away).

    I agree with the whole Horcrux thing. I mean, it was like reading a different HP book, since it didn't focus as much around the school. Felt weird, actually. If you've read all the books from 1st to 7th, it's like whoa. You can sort of feel the changes the characters are going through. Pretty deep imo, I just love how she writes her books. Disappointed that she's finished making the books.

    And about the deaths... Well, you gotta think a little. Two words. Sh.it happens. It adds a little more "emotion", you know? Everything is just going so fast, and then all of a sudden, someone dies. It's like, life, you know? I mean, I've never been to war or whatever, but still. **** happens.

    Edit - **** yeah, my death opinion is the same as Mist's... That means Im on the right path. I think.

    I find it really lovely how I actually don't remember really anything from the fifth book on. I should probably reread those three or something. ;-;

    More like "reread" all the books by midnight. Actually, I wouldn't really suggest reading the 7th book if you are going to watch the movie. You might laugh at some stupid changes they made in the movie from the book, so... I mean, like, they might take out some stuff from the book, and you'll be like whaaaa?

    I find it fitting for them to end this movie when Harry and company reach Golrick Hallows and visit his parents grave. Nothing after that, just a close up at their gravestone, probably Harry and Hermione looking determined while looking at the gravestone or something along those lines, but fade to black and role credits after that. I think that kind of ending would bring a much deeper feeling and would bring more strength to the central themes of Harry Potter.

    But, Harry's still going to fill up Ginny, right? :lolface:

    I'm actually not to fond of Ginny, the actor playing her, not the character. She seemed fitting in her early years, but there's something about her that's just not right. Maybe it's just her voice or something.

    I also find it ironic that tomorrow I have to turn in my arugement for class saying that Christian kids should read Harry Potter.
