The lack of evidence and any account of wht happened makes me giggle..Photgrapher pretends to be hurt, gets himself well known and gets Bieber in trouble...Silliness and shenanigans I say! Wouldn't surprise me if it went a little something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV0y54iYWZg and the photographer pushed him too far and over dramatised things to make Bieber look bad

It's some whiny pap wanting money and trying to exploit a celebrity.

I absolutely despise the media and the way they treat celebrities, I hope he gets fined for wasting police time and Justin's time for that fact, disgraceful how they act around celebrities when all they're trying to do is have a normal day.

That is some shocking news. It is a tricky thing though to believe. There are so many people that dislike Justin Beiber (me being one of them but I am not an extremist) that would do anything to allow him to lose his fan base. But with the law getting involved it may be a lot more hurtful to his career this time. It will create rumors and he will lose some supporters.

You have got to be kidding me! While I fully agree that speeding is wrong, I think there are also cases where it should be okay or at least understood as to why it was done, such as having to drive someone to the hospital because they had a heart attack or something.

I mean, what the hell was he supposed to do? Just stop and let the paparazzi do whatever it was that they wanted to do to him. Also, if this was on a freeway, how was he cited for speeding? According to the article, he was going 65. Most freeways' speed limits are between 60 and 70 (usually 70), given that there is no construction, project, etc. going on.

The article says "in excess of 65mph," which means he was going beyond the (presumable) speed limit of 65. If you go further down...
I do pity the Bieb, the paparazzi is giving him a hard time and I don't blame him for trying to get away. I don't think the circumstances should get him off scott free, but arrest I think would be going too far... give him some tickets and that's the end of it, imo. He is kind of asking for it with a signature/flashy car, though.

I decided to see how much MySpace has changed, and I happened to find an article that was published approximately 7 hours ago on Justin Bieber regarding the chase.

Reading it, the photographer is being charged and jailed for endangering the lives of others, so as far as I can tell from reading that, Justin is not in any trouble, which is good news.

This is all incredibly ridiculous. The paparazzi need to leave celebrities the hell alone. I despise the Beib, and I still agree he needs to be let off easy with tickets or something. Quit following the guy and wasting his time. He has his own life too.
