No, I did that for another reason. This thread was distracting me from other stuff... IMPORTANT stuff. If I'm dead, then I don't have to worry about it. xDD

 

I just got off work, you need to ask another person, I just barely formulated my list.

 

Accusation

DarkRequiem0 is escorted down to the police station, treated to waterboarding, humiliation tactics of standing nude in public and other such things until they realize they are questioning for the kira and not a terrorist. He makes the comment that he didn't even get to kill anyone yet so what the hell??? After investigating his house, the Notebook is discovered under some dirty socks and they take it, locking it up in a secure vault with laser tripwires around. However, once again the Notebook gets stolen to be given to another willing soul...

Well, this seems to be getting too easy now and predictable. The kiras need to be more active it seems or people are just picking who's not around automatically. I will have to think on the strategy here before choosing a new Kira. In the end I guess the main problem is we need more people possibly to play. :/ Welp those interested in playing can post up a new list for round 13 while I scheme.

I'm not sure we need a new thread or not. I am going to revise a rule though to give the kira a bit more of a chance and we really need new members. Revising the thread -may- get us some new recruits to play. I take it that is why you are asking for it so if people want that, we can do it.

One of the rules that is going to be revised though is that from now on, unless we get a lot of people in the game, if there's 12 and under on the list, detectives must post evidence on why they are accusing a person. That way it makes the game a bit more challenging when there are less people. When there are more, that rule of course will be rescinded.

Hey all! Round 12 will soon begin so hang in there. The list is the current one of people that have been posting since the end of the last game. Roxas 13 if you'd like to play, here's the rules up for you to read. To play, just post again and you will be added in for the new round.

 

Aye. Agreed. Otherwise, the game's becoem to easy. We need to make things more challenging for you people. And maybe, if it calls for it, for Kira as well.

 

rule change sounds good to me.
I'll be in for the next round when it starts, and maybe I might get lucky and actually figure out Kira before someone steals my thunder.

 

I've also added a new rule regarding the Kira and lack to kill in a day's time to keep balance with the other rule.

The rules posted above are current and should help move the game better and still keep some intrigue and well, motivate the kiras as well. Hope these help us out more to keep the game going.

What if no accusations are made? And kira simply phails at stalking?

Lovely rule, Repliku. This will get both parties working. Kira's become just as lazy as the rest of the detective/suspects. I swear, the game sort of died ever since I was Kira. D:

 

I think you scared everyone away from killing them so easily...

 

If no accusations are made, the Kira gets shinigami eyes to kill off someone as a freebie as you came up with. If the Kira however fails to be productive in stalking and kills no one, waiting for an accusation, that kira now suffers too so it will encourage people to work a bit more productively. Basically this ups the stakes on the game to make it harder for the kira and the detectives since it seems some things in the last few games are getting mighty predictable. Also, we don't want the game to stagnate so this will help people put their heads together more as far as detectives go, and the kiras will need to do more too to keep the game moving.

I hope no one thinks I added the new rules to be rotten or something. It really is with the intent of picking up the game and letting people participate more and not just have the game die around them so they are bored.

I really and actually miss the days I was Kira. THE TIME WHEN THE GAME WAS MOST PRODUCTIVE, in terms of both deaths and people working together. Hopefully these new rules will help in resurrecting the game to the productivity it had on the first few rounds. Work people, work!

 

I was pondering that maybe...well I should talk to you guys separate from here on this. ICSP, you need MSN!!!

 

Most productive = Mass slaughter by Pyro.

People Working together = Repliku doing all the detective work and everyone else following his lead. And TCO putting it all together.
