    Oh yeah Traverse Town is the showcase. You could say post production add in, but the transition between Traverse Town and Night of Fate sounds like how the game does it. Just watch and listen

    These coders, every damn time and I jsut have a feeling that they won't finish at least not until well into next year

    Hmmm. Yeah it looks like they got full camera and music importing unless the just edit it's it in each time th battle music came in. I'm not sure. You can as crazycatz and see what he thinks. I would like t know how they figured everything out.

    It's definitely interesting. The dude is a game programmer. He probably made his own control panel so to speak. Maybe modified PCSX2 too. We shall see. :D

    Yes that guy completely reversed this game. I guess it possible to really make anything work with the right knowledge.

    So if I want to edit the UI for 16x9 what should I do?

    Got the textures how do I squeeze them now?

    Where did you find them? You found the character pics too?

    Nah, character portraits are in the mdls container.

    I have the lock on icons and exclamination/quesiton mark icons. But I am not daring to mess with the command menu it's kinda strange in appearance. Maybe Crazycat or someone else can give me the 1.5 UI command textures

    It was mentioned back a few pages that messing with uitex.bin alone (the file you're probably talking about) will probably be pointless without knowing where the coordinates/uv map/whatever info is stored. Believe me, I've tried to fix uitex but it breaks the command menu in game and just shows a solid strip of color.

    Go ask him. I know he messed with it because its really skinny when i imported it.

    Whoops. I didn't mean to upload that one. The command menu was scaled, but it's pretty much impossible to scale the HP/MP bars.

    What exactly is it you guys are asking? How to edit textures in the uitex.bin? I use a combination of Gimp, Game Graphic Studio, and Optpix iMage Studio for the PS2.

    Things are going by slow. Trying to figure out or at least see what's inside these mdls files.

    I wish I could extract them, but I am finding it hard with QuickBMS since the files seem to be at the end of the archive instead of the beginning like most game files. Anyone inquire some help. I figured it wouldn't be as hard to figure out like how Falo did for 1.5's models, but you never know.

    There are a couple of things to notice:
    SeSep files (which I think contain the sounds and voices)
    Some unnamed (assumely .DAT files or maybe texture files)

    And then there is this CLS in the header and for some mdls files you can find like worldcode_modelname.bd
    which I assume holds the mesh and skeleton.

    Hi, Guys im quite new here and even in the world of emulating.. anyone could help me I dont understand how you patch the widescreen , hd resolution, 60 fps etc.. anyone could help me to know where will I put those patches and some short guides about the pscx2 emulator.. please im new I hope you could help me, all I can see that you are posting is patches or I mean codes that I dont understand and where to put those codes .. please help,

    I don't understand why you guys are doing patches or codes on wide screen , hd resolution and 60 fps thing, but its all in pscx2 video plugin settings and you could change resolution there right? what's the difference.. and my screen looks good in widescreen without doing anything on what the codes I see in the early page of this thread.. please help me I'm so noob ><
