Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 whcih had better storyline?

Okay, which game had a better story line to you? Kingdom hearts one was better to me.

 

I liked KH2 better.​

 

Hmm, why? I liked kingdom hearts because they introduce the characters better, and they don't allow you to skip cutscenes, so you can enjoy the story more. I guess that's what I mean.

 

Well, now that I think about it, I pretty much liked both storylines the same, but I voted KH2 because I like it better as an overall game.​

 

Hmm. I'm not sure. To me, I kinda thought that kingdom hearts II was more about fighting, much less then the actual story. You know, like with all the 1000 heartless, drive forms, and organazation members- data fights.

 

KH1 was way better then KH2 i thought

 

Kingdom Hearts had more story. But Kingdom Hearts 2's story... in my opinion, isn't as cliche. I mean, it's just a VERY strange coincidence that your best friend ends up being a Princess of Heart.

 

Well, I would say KH1 in terms of storyline, KH2 was more of fighting than storyline for me =/.

 

KH2 was awfully planned. You'd play for 5 minutes, then watch a 10 minute cutscene about Disney crap that doesn't matter. I vote KH1, although all the characters are very weak. The manga does a better job of fleshing them out, and CoM does an okay job with Sora.

 

KH1 probably had a better story line, I hae to agree with Cat-Like - it was annoying to have a movie every 5 minutes, though KH2 was a better game overall

 

KH1's was better. it just was straight up a good storyline with the heartless and riku betraying you

KH2 was you, donald, and goofy jumping guys in costumes

 

KH 1 is much better, i can remember the first time i played it and how magical i felt. KH 2 was good and all but it almost seemed that they tried too hard to match the sucess of KH 1

I liked KH1 better, it was more heartwarming and easy to follow. Whereas KH2 felt a bit jumbled up.. :/ With the organisation members AND Disney villians... actually, it was just as if Malificent and Pete were thrown in there. It would have been better if it was done a bit differently.

 

Couldn't agree more with Mish. I played it about three times just to get the story straight, and to tell you the truth, it was rather dull at many moments. Nothing like the first one.

 

I liked kh2 better.

 

Could you give reason to this? What was it about the game that made you like it more than the first one? Please read the rules and the actually subject before making a post like this.

 

KH2 by far had a better system. The story seemed to lack a little more when up against KH though.

 

What section should this be in? Kingdom hearts II did have a better system and all, but you didn't get MY favorite ability dodge roll, well except in final mix. And just what khkid said, in kingdom hearts Riku betrays you and all, which really makes the story more interesting. Then in kingdom hearts II, after all the stuff you did to him, in kingdom hearts, he kinda comes out of nowhere and helps you out? If I were Riku, I wouldn't try to help Sora out too much, he took the keyblade from you, and yes to the people who don't know, Riku was supposed to get the Keyblade, and Sora wasn't supposed to get it all.

 

Well, it's kind of a tie for me. I mean, with KH, it had so many familiar faces of our favorite Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters and very challenging boss battles and the storyline having a hero (Riku) being manipulated to fight for evil will make this game very good.

For KH2 it's also good since everyone you've got to know from the last game seems to be older and such. Though, the game seems a bit easier it still has a great storyline and answers questions brought up from KH1 and KH:COM and introduces drives, and limits that makes the game alot more enjoyable.

So, as you can see, I can't decide.

 

Hmm...this one's kind of tough.

Kingdom Hearts seemed better because, well, when you mix FF with Disney, you don't know what's going to happen, so it's a surprise at every turn. So when KH2 comes around, even though you've some new surprises, you pretty much know what to expect next, so the fun leaves a little bit. It's a bit close, but KH1 had the slight edge (in my opinion, anyway).
