Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 whcih had better storyline?

One had a better Magic System. Really, I used magic in KH2 once? twice? Not including cure. Oh, and the summons I never used.\

Also one was simple and clean. Two you could not attack someone without wondering "is this guy really bad?"

 

I'd say KH2 mainly cuz their cutscenes had much better graphics...that's all storylines matter to me...

 

Well in KH I was so shocked by the many Disney characters I forgot about the story but after playing it again I never really liked it.

The story with the nobodies in Kh2 really is what grabed me the most.

 

KH2's storyline was kind of hard to follow, and some things looked thrown together. KH1 had a far better storyline.

 

What completely threw me off was that, Malificent was back again, I forgot if they explained why that happened, did they?

KH2's story felt sloppy compared to the original.

 

i thought that the first was a great simple story line with great characters.
not saying that the 2 didn't have a good story line but not as good as the first one

 

In sleeping beauty, Malificent is basically the embodyment of evil thoughts.

In KH2 she reapears when the 3 fairies see her robe, which was droped by her crow, and are reminded of all the things she did.

Its a stretch, but makes sense.

KH2 had a better story line.

It amazingness is kinda lost because there was a lot of reading between the lines, and you dont know anything until you read all the Secret Ansem reports, go back, and play the game through again.

KH1 was a simple story that a 5 year old could understand.

To me the differene is like watching a movie, and reading a captivating mystery novel.

The novel has a better story, but not everyone could appreciate or understand it.

 

I liked KH2's story line better. why? Because of nobodies. well i can't think of any good reason why it was better. i just liked it more.

 

KH2 gets my vote.It is awesome and had great characters.The storyline went very well.

 

I think.. KH1? because KH2's story line is kind of confusing

 

I prefer the kh1 story line, it seems to follow an actual track. Kh2 is great and everything, but there are parts of the game that really just don't follow the plot whatsoever. To me some of the worlds just posed as filler. For the most part kh1 stays in line and is relatively easy to follow.

 

KH 1 had the better story line, although KH 2 was a better game.

 

Neither, Chains of Memories had the best story

 

Storyline wise, I'd have to say that KH1 had the upper hand. With such an odd pairing (Disney and FF), you really didn't know what was behind the corner. Its plot was a refreshing kind of classic.

I think KH2 had an interesting storyline too, it was just a little... thrown together. But Organization XIII definitely made the sequel worth it.

 

Yeah, but alot of the things chain of memories things were based on kingdom hearts 1, now wern't they?

 

I like both but KH1. I never expected Sora to sacrifice his heart.

 

if you think about it kh 2 was based on a lot of things from CoM don't you say


and CoM was the best but its not a option so kh 2

 

KHII all the way! I mean, I have nothing at all against the KH1 storyline, but the Organization was such an interesting group of characters and made the plot intriguing. The first KH you just had typical villians shrouded in Darkness and doing everything for evil. In KHII, we had people who not just fought the protagonist, but manipulated, used, confused, and then fought the hero. We had to save the worlds not just from Heartless bosses and Disney villians, but then from personal storylines and Nobody interference. Sora actually began acting a little more human about the situation, not just "I HAVE TO FIND RIKU AND KAIRI!!!!!!" But he really showed concern for what's happening on each world, helped them explain the situation, and actually interacted. They also incorporated minor characters a lot better. From Squall to Seifer to Hayner all had their own interesting backstory.

 

I wish you'd put in the option for both, so I abstain from the poll vote itself. I enjoyed both of the story arcs and thought that KH2 nicely picked up from KH and CoM to move on progressively and yet introduce more troubles and plot. I enjoyed KH's plot a lot too which is what got me into the series in the first place so...it's just too darn difficult to choose. I think the only game I'd say was weaker was Sora's part of CoM. My friends and I sometimes go about saying that if you took out the word 'Memories" and replaced it with "Heart" you could have KH over again. At least Reverse Rebirth made up for that, and some parts in CoM Sora's side did.

All in all though, I can't choose. Evil day.
