Kite looked over at Yumiko and smiled"Hey!"he said
"Just in time..''Shino muttered,she began walking back inside the school

 

Yumiko raised her hand about to wave but quickly put it down and frowned. "Kite..." She mumbled walking towards him. She pointed at the child in his hands and asked. "Who's she?"

 

Haseo turned and followed Shino inside,deciding to leave the two alone.

"..This is Atoli..she's my..20 year old sister..long story...I'll explain at another time''Kite said,laughing nervously
Atoli looked up at Kite,and then at Yumiko.

 

Andrew laid back down on his bed forgetting about his plan to get a welcome mat.

.....Hotaru......I'm a horrible brother.......I'm not even mourning you.....what's wrong with me?......what happened between us?.....we were never close.....but close enough....and then......I just.....abandoned you.....but what can I do?........Haseo's got it rough the most.....he loved you greatly......at first I wasn't too sure...but if he cares that much about you.......then....he's definitely worthy of you......but not me......I'm not worth being your older brother.....your older brother who could.....nothing......

He stared at the top bunk through eyes he couldn't see through.

 

"Oh..." Yumiko mumbled. "I think I met her before.. Her and that other girl..." She looked at Atoli and then turned her head towards Kite but kept her eyes on Atoli. "You sound nervous....Why?"

Atoli did the same,she shut her eyes smiling

Yumiko smiled a little and reached her hand to Atoli but then moved it away. "Children are so innocent...." She mumbled looking upwards.

 

Kite looked at Yumiko,no longer smiling"..only because they dont know what's going on around them..''he said,with his free hand he gently grabbed Yumiko's hand and smiled weakly

 

He kept walking listening intently for any other footsteps or voices.

 

Yumiko looked at him, a small smile still on her lips. "Eventually... They find out." She turned her hand but still held onto Kite's hand.

 

He paused a for a while hearing a few voices.

.......I think it's Kite and....that other girl........they'd probably kill me if I butt in.......nobody cares anyway....better ask someone else.....

 

"...Things are so horrible with the world lately..parent's try and shelter their children from it...and then they go out into the world..and they dont know a thing''Kite muttered silently

 

He kept walking down the hall still listening for other footsteps and voices.

.....wait......what kind of store sells welcome mats?......

 

"They just want to be independent," Yumiko replied. "There's nothing wrong with that. They just need to be careful.... Kite... Did you leave home? Do you even know where the rest of your family is?"

 

Brexecca noticed Andrew walking around aimlessly. "Need some help...?" she asked as she walked up to him.

 

"I dont want to talk about any of that..''Kite muttered,he held Atoli tighter and let go of Yumiko's hand"..Im going to the lounge for a while...your welcome to join me''he said silently,he went inside and proceeded to the lounge

 

He immediately stopped and and turned toward Brexecca.

Yes....I do......uh......do you know.....what kind of store sells Welcome mats?
