Edric swept her into his arms and carried her bridal style.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?"

 

Sayu nodded 'bunches of times" Sayu said

 

"I've meant it every time. I've seen many women in my life, but you're the only one that ever caught my eye."

 

Sayu smiled "and now the most beautiful girl you have ever met is now your slave" Sayu said

 

"And my wife on top of that. I love you, Sayu."

 

Sayu smiled "shouldn't you be treating me like your slave" Sayu said

 

"Not all the time. Especially not around the kids."

 

Sayu nodded and rested her head against his chest

 

Edric set her down in the grove and sat next to her.

 

Sayu smiled as she sat next to him

 

Edric laid back and smiled.

"What does the earth say about me now?"

 

"it considers you an annoyance but it likes you" Sayu said

 

"Probably why I can't hear the voice of the earth. I can understand the language of animals though."

 

Sayu smiled "you have a great connection with animals" Sayu said

 

Edric smiled and put his arms around her. One of Silver fang's pups staggered up to them.

 

Sayu smiled and petted the pup

 

The pup climbed in her lap and fell asleep.

 

Sayu smiled as she stoked it

 

"I think he likes you."

 

Sayu smiled "yeah I think he does" Sayu said
