Rin nodded as she held her stomach

 

Haku left and quickly returned with Krysta.

Krysta started to examine Rin and sighed when she put her hand on her stomach.

"You two have been sleeping together, haven't you?"

 

"err yes" Rin said shyly

 

Krysta sighed again.

"I wasn't prepared to be a grandmother so soon. You're pregnant, Rin."

 

Rin was amazed and shocked "wh-wh-what. I cant believe it" Rin said

 

"I couldn't believe it when I got pregnant either. Like it or not, you're going to be a mother soon."

 

Rin smiled as she put her hand on her stomach "Im very happy" Rin said

 

Krysta looked up at Haku as he put his arm around Rin.

"Don't make the same mistakes your father made when he raised you, Haku." Krysta said before walking back home to train Lara.

Haku came back from training and sat with Rin.

"How's the baby coming along?"

Krysta finished training Lara for the day.

"I've taught you all of the techniques you can learn, except for one. I don't think you're ready to learn it though."

 

"its still a pain" Rin said. Over the months she had been very bossy becuase of the pregnancy

Lara crossed her arms "mom Im ready to learn it" Lara said

 

"You really think you're ready? To learn the ultimate technique, you'll have to kill me to master it. Knowing that, are you still certain you're ready to learn it?"

"You need me to get you anything, Rin?"

 

"get me a drink and make it fast" Rin said

Lara was surprised "no" LAra said

 

Haku quickly got a drink for her and brought it back.

"Here you go."

"I'm not surprised. The technique is probably the most lethal technique ever known. It involves you shattering every bone in the target's body and rupturing their heart with very rapid strikes."

 

Rin took the drink and sighed as she looked at Haku "Im sorry for being so bossy " Rin said

 

"It's alright. I know you're about ready to give birth and want to hurry up and get it over with."

Krysta looked at Lara.

"Whenever you feel ready to learn the technique, let me know. It's hard to take the life of your teacher, especially when your teacher is your mother, but it's the only way you'll learn the technique."

 

"im not going to learn that technique" Lara said

Rin nodded but suddenly her stomach started to pain her

 

"What's wrong, Rin? Are you going into labor?"

Krysta smiled.

"I'm glad you feel that way, Lara. You might have to learn the technique some day though."

 

"no technique is worth losing my mom" Lara said

Rin began to scream

 

Haku got ready for Rin to give birth.

Krysta hugged Lara.

"I'm proud to have you as a daughter."
