Cassima took him over to the ball and handed it to him.

 

Kain laughed as he bounced the ball and played with it

 

Cassima smiled as she watched him play.

 

Kain sat there bouncing the ball happily but then the ball rolled away from him. Kain began to cry

 

Cassima got the ball and rolled it back to Kain.

 

Arisa sat on the roof, thinking over the time for the wedding when she noticed everything was frozen in time. She gasped as Kuja sat beside her.

 

Kael stood in place.

 

"Hello, my sweet daughter." Kuja smiled, Arisa remained silent. "I hope you like to be the host of a new race, one that combines the angelic nature of the keldon and the mindless attutide of the genomes. Please, give my regrets to my future son-in-law." Kuja disappeared and time reassumed, Arisa sighed, thinking over what her father told her.

 

Kael walked up to Arisa.

"Something wrong?"

 

"It's nothing. Just nervous."

 

"So did you decide when you want the wedding?"

 

"Yeah, in a couple of days."

 

"That sounds perfect."

 

Arisa sighed and swayed her tail.

 

Kael gently kissed her.

 

Arisa kissed him back.

Arisa stood in her room, already dressed in her grown. Her tail swayed, she still thought about what Kuja told her.

 

Kael waited for Arisa in the throne room.
