Edric set Miyu down and waited to see if she would walk back to him.

 

Miyu slowly began to walk towards him

 

Edric watched, ready to pick her up if she fell.

 

Miyu almost fell but managed to reach Edric

 

Edric smiled and picked Miyu up.

"You did great, Miyu."

 

Miyu giggled happily

 

Edric set her in Sayu's lap. He got up and got dressed.

"I've got to go take care of something real fast."

 

Sayu and Miyu looked at each other wondering what was going on

 

"It's nothing bad. I'll be back in a few minutes."

 

"be quick" Sayu said

 

Edric walked out and headed to town. He was looking for a gift for Sayu to give to her on their anniversary.

 

Sayu smiled as she held Miyu

 

Edric headed back to the castle with a necklace for Sayu.

 

Sayu was playing with Miyu

 

Edric walked back in the room, holding the box with the necklace behind his back.

 

Miyu smiled and walked up to her father and hugged his legs

 

"How's my little girl?" He said as he picked her up, keeping one hand behind his back as he held the box.

 

Miyu noticed he had something behind his back and tried to reach for it

 

"This is for mommy." Edric whispered to her.
