A storm raged on outside. There was a knock on the door, followed by Saya screaming when some thunder rumbled outside.

 

Ryo put on some clothes and quickly opened the door "whats wrong?" Ryo said

 

Miko sat by her window, holding Cloud close.

 

"I'm scared of the thunder, daddy. Can I sleep with you and mommy tonight?" Saya said, clinging to Ryo's leg.

Cloud slept peacefully in his mother's arms.

 

Miko smiled and gently stroked his hair.

 

Ryo was going to say yes but he relised Lucrecia was still undressed so he picked Saya up "lets go walk around the castle. Don't worry as long as your with me you have nothing to fear" Ryo said

 

"Okay, daddy." Saya said before following him. Lucrecia quickly got out of bed and put on her nightgown.

 

Ryo picked up Saya and walked with her in his hands "as long as your in the castle the thunder won't harm you" Ryo said as he walked

 

Miko held her son in her arms and watched the rain.

 

"Really, daddy?"

Lucrecia laid back down and waited for Ryo to return.

Marcus looked over at Miko.

"It's getting late. We should get some sleep."

 

"Right." Miko put Cloud in his crib and walked to their room.

 

Marcus followed her closely.

 

Miko entered the room and laid down on the bed.

 

Marcus laid next to her and held her.

 

Ryo nodded "nothing to fear and if you still are scared then do what you did just now and come run to me and your mother" Ryo said as he headed back to his room

 

Miko closed her eyes and fell asleep.
