Miko held the last card to the door and it opened. Nero was waiting for them and Lilly was with him.

 

Michael had a hand on his sword.

 

"Let Lilly go!" Hikari shouted. Nero sighed. "Let go of a person you barely know! Your memories of her are fake!"

 

"We'll make you pay for toying with our memories."

 

"I'll take care of him." Miko gave Cloud to Marcus and took out her swords.

 

Marcus stepped back.

 

Versago smiled as he watched

 

Miko and Nero crossed blades. Hikari ran to Lilly.

 

Michael looked at Lilly strangely.

 

Lilly looked at Hikari and sighed, turning away.

 

"I knew it. You're one of them, aren't you. You're a nobody."

 

"Yes, a prisoner of the Neo Organization. I was assigned to put false memories of the key bearer while erasing the memories of her teams."

 

Just then laughter could be heard around them

 

Aerith looked around and gripped her staff.

 

Cyrus quickly drew his sword.

 

walking towards them was Versago clapping "well I must thank you all for the show that you have provided me with" Versago said

 

Hikari got in front of Lilly, changing to her Dragoon armor.

 

"are you planning on protecting the girl?" Versago said

 

"Figures, you'd have to be the puppetmaster behind this scheme."
