"then why bring me here" Ryo said

 

Hikari smiled at Ryo, then Melodria ran in and hugged her. "Hello, mother."

"Oh, I was so worried about you, Hikari."

 

"Because I wanted you down here, idiot."

 

"None of you would know where the god Fenrir is, would you?' Melodria asked, Aerith shook her head and held Fenrir's summon jewel in her hand.

 

"Now that we're back I want to ask you something very important, Lucrecia."

"What is it, dad?"

"Your mother and I have to go on a journey to defend the worlds. Obviously, that would leave you in charge of the kingdom still, and seeing how you've done such a wonderful job, I wanted to ask you if you and Ryo would mind taking over the throne."

Lucrecia looked surprised.

"Ryo and I will have to discuss it."

"I understand. We'll be here for a while, so take your time and think it over."

 

"But we'll come to visit you once in awhile." Hikari said. "Be on the outlook on any cloaked figures, that be the Neo-Organization."

 

"I'm gonna go take a nap."

 

Miko stayed with Alexandra for awhile and Aerith joined them. Alexandra asked, "How 'bout you tell us my favorite story, nee-chan?!"

"It's been a while since I told that one."

 

Lucrecia sat on the throne, wondering what she should do.

 

Miko, Aerith, and Alexandra sat down and Miko began to tell a story about a poor girl who rescued and fell in love with a prince. Since she deeply loved him, she disguised herself as a boy and went to the castle to become a knight.

 

Ryo looked at Lucrecia

 

"What do you think we should do, dear? Should we take over as king and queen?"

 

"no way I'm a swordsman not some king" Ryo said

 

"You mean you wouldn't do this for me?"

 

"no" Ryo said stubbornly crossing his arms

 

"Fine then, I guess I'll have to find a more loyal husband."

 

"fine go ahead" Ryo said

 

Lucrecia stormed off angrily.

 

Ryo watched her storm off

 

"You should really come to some sort of compromise with her. You know she has her heart set on becoming queen and you know you'll never find another woman that loves you like she does."
