Aerith got her children to her sister's room. She closed the door.

 

Ryo swung also but mateus dodged both attack. "after this you will pay for that attack you did just now" Ryo said to Cyrus and jumped straight at Mateus and slashed at him once more. Mateus blocked it once again with his staff

 

Cyrus knocked Mateus' staff from his hands.

 

The staff suddenly started to fly straight at Cyrus

 

Cyrus deflected the staff and swung at Mateus.

 

Miko and Kuja continued to fight each other.

 

The staff blocked the attack for him

Ryo slashed straight at the emperor but the emperor dodged. Ryo landed on a trap and there was an explosion

 

Cyrus cast a healing spell on Ryo and resumed his attack.

 

Mateus jumped away "I had enough of this" Mateus said as he prepeared a beam

Ryo got ready and prepared a beam

 

Cyrus prepared a beam of his own.

"Fire your beam at the same time as me so we can combine the attack." He whispered to Ryo.

 

Ryo nodded and got ready to fire a beam of darkness

 

"3....2....1....now!"

Cyrus fired his beam.

 

"twilight's blast" Ryo yelled as he shot his blast also

Mateus countered their beam with his own trying to overpower them

 

Miko grew tired from fighting Kuja.

 

Marcus took over for Miko.

Cyrus poured more energy into his beam.

 

Ryo put all his strength into the blast

The blast started to overpower Mateus "no not once but twice........who are you.....UBOAARRRR" MAteus said as he got blast and was destroyed

 

Kuja groaned and disappeared.

 

Cyrus fell back and caught his breath.

"We did it..."

 

"yea whatever" Ryo said as he began to walk away but fell down

 

Aerith stepped out, but fainted. Jecht picked her up and carried her to her room.
