Kingdom Hearts | Awakening of Oblivion

Greg wasn't sure what to do, so he released his grip on Xero, pushed her away, and coated himself in fire, charging toward Gexln, and then slashing at him blindly.

 

"You lack technique" Gexln said as he felt the heat radiating off of Greg, but easily blocked the strikes.

 

Xero was lost in her own thoughts as Greg released her. She could still see the world around her but she only saw blurry blobs of colors.
Am I...fading away? ...No...What's going on?

 

Greg realized this wasn't working and stepped back, but then jumping up in the air, held his keyblade out, and spun/charged toward Gexln, fire sprouting out from his keyblade to make a whirlpool around himself.

Alex raised his eyebrow, Shouldn't that girl be trying to kill me or my brother? he thought, looking at her. She seemed to be staring off into space, and he tried asking, "Are you ok?" but he didn't think Xero heard anything he'd asked.

 

Xero tried looking around for Alex, but it was difficult due to her blurred vision.
"Why is everything so...blurry and... blobs of colors?" She said.

 

Alex walked slowly toward Xero, "Uhm..I'd say that's a no.." he muttered, walking up to her, What do I do? I'm not a healer! I don't even know plain cure.. he thought, his shoulders sagging. He put his hand on his chin, staring intently at Xero, trying to figure out something to do. "Erm.." he awkwardly blurted. "I think it wouldn't be the safest thing to stand.." he muttered, gently grabbing her shoulders and gesturing her to lay down. She would..crack her head, right?

 

Gexln eyed Greg as he flew towards him. Calmly, he leapt over Greg and shot a dark firaga towards him.

 

Greg flipped in the air and landed on a ground. As the dark firaga headed toward him he absorbed it as it flew into him. "Fire and darkness....not gonna win that way." Greg stated. He smirked, looking at Xero over by Alex. He ran toward them, raising his keyblade over his head as he ran.

 

"Sooner or later you'll have too much absorbed and it will overcome you" Gexln said as he dashed in the path of Greg and attacked with a punch with his right arm towards his throat.

 

Greg fell backwards, practically choking. He struggled to swallow and got back up, his face white as a ghost. Darkness started smoking off of him as his eyes turned red and he shot up a wall of fire from the ground, it disappearing after a second. Each time the fire wall went up it got closer to Gexln, soon the fire wall moved very quickly, and he flicked his arms forward, sending the wall of fire straight at Gexln. He felt dizzy, but he shook it off.

 

"whoa!" Gexln exclaimed,shocked by the sudden attack. Quickly he turned around and ran a few feet before jumping up,flipping backwards, and landing on the other side. "So...you want to play it like that?" he questioned. Gexln mimicked Greg's move and released a fire wall of pure darkness.

 

Greg tried to absorb it, but strangely when it hit him he went sprawling backwards. He groaned, and got up, summoning a giant firaga at Gexln for a distraction. He was breathing heavily, his whole body ached, and as he shot the firaga his knees buckled slightly, but he caught himself.

 

Gexln attempted to block the giant firaga,and partially succeeded, but the impact knocked him backwards onto his back.

 

Greg found his opening and ran toward Gexln, his whole body trembling with pain. As he ran he brought up he keyblade, then swung it down at Gexln, closing his eyes for the impact either him or Gexln would get.

 

Gexln desperately rolled to the side to avoid the attack and kicked Greg's keyblade out of his hand. He then quickly swung his blade up, striking Greg's shoulder.

 

Greg struggled backwards, clutching his shoulder in pain, almost tripping over his own feet. His keyblade appeared in his other hand, but he could barely move his arm now. He switched to his other hand, although it didn't feel the same. With very little effort he groaned quietly and threw his keyblade at Gexln, It's time. he heard inside himself.

 

Gexln braced for the impact. The keyblade narrowly missed him. He stood up slowly, using his blade to support himself.

 

"I'd say this fight been going on long enough." Noxtis said summoning his eleven blades and sending them down to interupt the fight.

 

One of Noxtis's keyblade knocked him down, and Greg couldn't stand it anymore. His whole body was in pain, he could barely even move. His shoulder was probably dislocated, and all over he had cuts,bruises, and scars. "Insane.." Greg muttered, slowly getting up, using his keyblade for support. When he was up he knelt on his keyblade so he could stand, and he observed everything around him, and shot his brother a quick look.

 

Gexln nimbly dodged 8 of the keyblades, but one of them hit him in the stomach,winding him and again knocking him onto the ground.
