Kingdom Hearts: Chasing Shadows

Carrie smiled and ruffled the little boy's head as he fell asleep. Even after everything going on it was nice to know the was still good things in the world.

 

"My apologies, my Queen, but I have never visited an Agrabah before. I doubt I could open a portal there with no knowledge of where it is." He said. He was about to ask who this Seiren person was, but he assumed he would find out soon enough.

Genie eventually came to a halting stop in the town of Agrabah. It wasn't much of a difference between the desert and the town except for the multiple walls and buildings. Sand covered the ground mostly and lie up in piles against the buildings. Even bits of construction were held off due to the pile ups of sand. People wearing cloth over their heads and faces wandered the town as if they knew exactly where they were going. Sei opened his silver eyes and slowly walked out, rubbing his eyes to rid them of sleep. "Someone tell me we're where we're supposed to be..."

Riku jumped into the Gummi Ship with Akii still hanging onto his back like a small monkey and started fiddling with the controls. "Master Yen Sid said we have to follow the darkness...if that's the case then we should head to Agrabah. Is that alright with everyone? It's kinda warm there...but if we're going by experience then I'd rely on Sora's knowledge..." he chuckled as if that were extremely funny, "But even that isn't so vast."

Xenree jerked her head to her own shadow and a pale white hand reached up from the dark shadow and snapped it's pale fingers. A dark corridor opened and Larxene headed inside, "Boy, you doubt yourself too much."

 

"Looks like Agrabah...Never seen it, must be arabian or something." Shrugging, he went closer to take a better look, before turning to ask Genie, "This is where you live?"

 

"I hope this is the right place," said Carrie. "I mean... I wonder what its like.. I've never been to another world before-other then Traverse Town, anyway"

 

"Well it seems safe enough." Keel said as he took a look around the newest world the we're in. "As long as we don't run into an problem during our stay here."

 

Nikolai ignored Larxene's remark and followed her through the corridor.

Sora tried to brush off Riku's remark while Kirra began to giggle. They were all inside the gummi ship and Sora began to navigate their way to Agrabah. "First thing we should do is look for Aladdin and Jasmine. She's one of the Princesses of Heart, so she may know a little bit of something that's going on here."

Nox only stood and watched what was happeing with the reserected Organization members, and he did his best to surpress his feelings when he saw Nikolai interacting with Xenree. As he saw him and the blonde Nobody leave through the corridor, he made his way to Xenree. "So, what's my role in this production," He asked her.

 

Riku relaxed back into a chair and shut his eyes, "Great, then we can investigate the world. Or...would you rather I do that on my own while you go galavant with your old friends?" Riku was only half joking as Akii climbed into his lap and kissed his cheek. Sighing, Riku ruffled her white hair, "Akii, your mother has to be somewhere right? If you insist I'm your father, then where is she? I, uh...want to see your mother." Akii frowned and shrugged, "I dunno...momma has been looking for my big brother. She told me to stay with papa...but...I lost you for a while in the darkness...BUT!" Riku jumped and her bright blue eyes glittered, "I found you again, so momma can't be mad. She'll be so happy to see you again! And then, everthing can go back to the way it was. Mamma being mamma and me and my big brother and you all a family again, living at home...where we belong."

Xenree tapped her bottom lip with a gloved fingertip and waved to Luxord, "You're in charge for the moment. Nox, come with me, we'll go to Agrabah too and claim the World Heart. After all, it's your duty to protect me as all the others must do. I am, your Queen of Darkness."

 

"I'll tag along with you, if that's alright, Riku," Kirra said, trying to chime into the conversation. "I never knew there were a number of worlds out there, so I want to see as much of our universe as I can."

"I will protect you with my life, my Queen," Nox said to Xenree. He bowed slightly before placing his hood over his head. With his right arm raised, he opened a dark portal to Agrabah.

 

Nikolai emerged from the portal in front of what looked like the entrance to a city. The area around him was nothing but desert, minus a darker ominous area off in the distance. "Why would we want the heart of such a run-down world. What use would it be?" He asked to anyone listening.

(OOC: My apologies if that's not where the intended destination (Agrabah's entrance gate) was.)

 

"So, anyone up for some sight seeing? We'll never know when we'll have another chance to do it again." He asked the group

 

Carrie shrugged her shoulders. "I don't see why not," she said.

 

Riku shifted in his seat, "Sure that's fine with me. Sora, when are we gonna get there?"

Larxene nudged sand away from her boot only for more to fall into the hole she'd created. "Well this place certainly is a dump..." "Yes...it certainly is, and yet it's heart holds enough power to be enough for my purpose." Xenree stepped out of her dark portal with Nox. "And yet, each heart is needed. Don't worry, we won't have to linger long in this place."

Genie let them off and morphed back into his normal shape. "Sight seeing, yes!" Sei shifted his cloak tighter around his shoulders, "I don't like this place. It's hot."

 

"We're just about there," Sora said. Kirra peered out of the window next to her to look out at the new world. Agrabah was a very different place than any of the other worlds that she had seen. What immediately caught her eye was the giant castle in the middle of the town. The ship hovered right over the castle, Sora pressing a few of the buttons in frustration. "Okay, we're good to go." A flash of light appeared to surround them and Kirra was now standing in the castle courtyard. The elegant sight seemed to absolutely baffle her.

 

"There's so much sand here. Too bad it'll be nothing but darkness soon." Nikolai said, feeling little remorse for the run-down world. "So, Is this world's heart within the city? Or deep within this abysmal desert?" Nikolai asked. "Either way, it will be done, my Queen."

 

Riku and Akii stuck out their tongues as the heat hit them and a man wearing a purple vest and baggy white pants. "Hey, Sora, bye Sora!" he kept running past them with a little monkey wearing the same vest and a hat chasing after him.

Xenree smiled, "The heart is wherever I summon it from. Hmm..it's best to create chaos and summon it with all the negativity around. Larxene, Nickolai, that's your job. Humans are susceptable to danger." She set to walking through the sand on the ground towards the Bazaar. Larxene followed at her heels before warping to the top of a building and lifting her arms, "Thunder Chaser!" Several bolts of lightning rained down and struck at random points in the city.

 

Nikolai nodded to Xenree, warping himself to the top of a separate building, one closer to the palace. It looked like a small marketplace, a good place to stir up danger. He summoned his Keyblade and aimed it toward the marketplace. "Black Scatter-Fire!" He called. This created a large black flaming ball that flew into the marketplace grounds. On impact, the orb exploded into many smaller orbs. Those orbs then exploded into even smaller ones. They didn't go any further. This left the marketplace burnt with an everlasting black flame. "The smell of burning merchandise. It's a good one." He said to himself.

 

Shinji was amused at the sight of a new world and the unbearable heat hitting him was a part of it until that man just passed by chasing a monkey, greeting Sora and then saying goodbye in mere seconds.

"Curious friends you have Sora." He said to him
