I personally LOVE the idea... That would be very cool... (I don't know though, with all the real-world stuff... like sountracks and stuff... like, if it's cosplay, then it would make more sense to include only things that would apply to the story of Kingdom Hearts (things like weapons would be ok, but things like voice actors, or release dates, etc. I don't know.) but it's your thing, so do with it how you will, I'll enjoy to see pics. lol LOL I just got a funny idea... Be funny for a manga blooper thing, if somebody swapped Zexion's book with the Hundred Acre Wood.. LOL

 

i think it's only like a "marketing" system, if it is the zexion book, the KH fans will buy it.

 

Hey you should really take that Axel Pic off man! You might get introuble by the church or something! I know what you mean for that picture but other people might find it insuilting to The Son Of God! Seriously probably for your own safty you should take that pic off. WHO KNOWS WHAT PEOPLE MIGHT THINK!

(You don't have to listen to me but I'm just saying that picture just gives off a bad vibe like your replacing Jesus with Axel.)

Anyway, we're supposed to be talking about a hand-made Kingdom Hearts encyclopedia with front and back cover to match Zexion's mirage book...

And no matter what way you look at it, you're still comparing Axel to Jesus. And to add onto it, you're lying to make him seem more like Jesus.

And to keep on topic, you should make up some backstory for the other Org. members, other than the first 6.

 

Hm... if it's to be a true encyclopedia, it'll have to be based on only facts from the official sources... Also, I didn't say anyone was cursing me out, but basically that no one can do anything to me about it (I mean, I guess unless an admin is offended, then I have no choice) but really.. we compare Jesus to a lot of things, often metaphorically, or otherwise figuratively, and for some reason, THAT is not looked down upon...

 

Yeah, you have a point about the encyclopedia.

If you mean references in literature, such as Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia, there are other reasons. Everything in The Chronicles of Narnia is meant to be a reference to the story of Jesus (eg, Aslan dying to repent for the sins of the traitor, Edmund, and being resurrected). There are other such works which are meant to teach people to writings of Christianity without forcing them to read the Bible.

Random references because you like that character are not particularly looked highly upon by the religious community. I won't try to stop you, because I do believe the freedom of speech is one of the most powerful rights a person can have. Just be careful about what you're doing when picking up on touchy subjects such as religion.

everytime i do something religion somehow works it way in >_>. Lol and no I don't plan on selling it at all, its ALL mine. I just want to be able to go to Conventions, and have, for example, a Axel cosplayer just run up to me and ask "whats the book say about me?" ^_^ I think it would just be fun that way lol

maybe some detailed pictures of the symbols seen around the kh world, even though that will only use like 2 pages<_<

 

i'm telling you, it needs to be a pop-up. just for the lol factor.

 

LOL A pop-up... lol If ya make it, ya still COULD throw in a pitch to Square-Enix... I'd seriously buy a sort of Story/Character Guide if it was like this... But yeah, that'd be good... lol It's best if ya just sort of put the games into chronological story order for a little of it, catalog moves, weapons, items, worlds, sections of the world, tiny details like where the keyholes were... Heartless bestiary, Nobody bestiary, all-character stats, etc... It really depends on how you wanna set it up... I think it'd be best to like... section it off... Characters: (into groups, like Sora, Donald, and Goofy in one, Riku & Mickey in another, Org. XIII in its own... Kairi, Jasmine, Alice, etc. in theirs.. something like that) explaining everything to age, homeworld, weapon arsenal, special attacks, forms over the extent of all 3 games, relationship with other characters, purpose in the story, whatever. Then go onto describe the worlds... And items... a set of pages JUST for Ansem & Xehanort Reports... summary about the Heartless, along with bestiary, summary about Nobodies and XIII, bestiary, info about summons and magic... A few pages replicating the style of the Hundred Acre Wood... a few pages reciting what was in Yen Sid's book... Just, a lot.
