by custom code for final you mean custom drive form or UCM digit?

The three major cons of the target modding I can think of are:
1) Can only be used under the same conditions it was hacked under. (Must be in the same room, have the same party, etc. Not that big of a deal, but still...)
2) Has to be jokered if playing on a PS2. The target mod only works as long as the joker is held down. This means you can't really take part in the battle, only watch it.
3) Somewhat time-consuming to make.

EDIT: @ Majik: Sounds cool. I was just trying to list what the cons were of the current target mod.

Yes, it is updated with the value to attack the default person every frame. So unless the joker is on, the actor will return to targeting his default target.

I have actually fixed all three of those this past week. Though I don't consider what I did a true fix since it requires a custom PCSX2 i've been working on to hack the codes for you. But since my concept worked, I will eventually recode it in ASM for the PS2 (actual console). It will allow slot 2 and 3 to always target who slot 1 is targeting. (including boss')

Wouldn't that cause problems with battles where you're alone though? Either way, great!

 

I assume you mean swap magic 3.8 coder, if I remember correctly you need to add the game to it and to do so I believe you click the square bottom on your controller and hit new description or new game....something like that, and then type in the name of the game you want to add then hit enter or what ever it says, but if I recall the enter button is a big square button on the right of your screen, anyway then I think you click on the new game name to access it if not then hit the right arrow button on your controller, now once you've accessed your game hit square again and hit new description, then type in the name of the code your putting in, then hit enter, then once you have the name of your code hit the right arrow button on you controller and hit square again, then hit add hexcode and type in your code and hit enter, repeat the process until you've got all the the codes you want then hit square one more time and hit save, it will be located at the bottom, then wait for it to save everything, then one it's saved hit the start button on your controller and hit the first button that's in the bar, it's before special boot, then hit default boot and your good to go.^ ^

 

Thanks for that :), but It doesn't seem to be accepting the codes... I think coder only accepts the old Action Replay codes (not AR Max). Are these codes Codebreaker codes, because I THINK I can get them converted. Oh, and if I convert the codes, do I have to convert the Mastercode (enable code) as well?

 

actually coder only uses codebreaker codes which is in RAW format and if you post them I can convert them for you.^ ^

I think my problem at the moment is just the Mastercode. When I turn the cheats on and boot the game, it tells me the game is loading and then goes to a black screen. Have I done something wrong?

Hey, I'm kind of curious about these two codes I found. They work for Final Mix, because I've seen them used in Youtube videos, but if they were left as-is, would they work on the NTSC version of KH2 as well? Also, two other things about them. Do you need to drive into Valor fo this to work, and can it use RCs?
