You do most likely not have the replaced ally's starter weapon equipped. If it's not that, then it's probably a line in your code that's wrong. Either way, try this:

Ok......for KHII: I have been looking long and hard for an ActionReplayMAX code for a specific cheat. It may not exist, but I urge someone to find or make it! (on knees begging)

I need a cheat that will basically enable sora to explore maps FULLY! Like, there are boundaries that force us to a limited exploration of worlds, such as hollow bastion/radiant garden, TWTNW, and Pride Lands. Well, I want to explore them fully, and I'm supposing a few fans of KHII want to as well.

So in simple words, HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
A cheat that will take away all boundaries to the set limited maps of worlds. Ability to walk out of these boundaries, to explore (E.G. TWTNW has a LOT of places to explore, especially behind that overturned vehicle)

 

Well... It is possible but it's not solid ground anywhere, which means you would need to jump all the time and everywhere you go where it's out-of-bounds it look's just like paper.

 

Actually if i do recall there is a code that lets you just float around the maps which looks like first person so you do not see sora at all but you just move around as if you were using a "no clip" cheat from a PC game. This code DOES exist.

 

Oh, yeah, I remember but I think it never was made for the NTSC version?

I do think i ported it a while back but as i can see you had no trouble doing it lol, but yes it was on here somewhere because i only use ntsc on my ps2.

 

Another way that you can do this is if you turn infinite jump on and put the groundshaker instead of an ally, it will fling you out of the map then you can explore all you want

(walks back slowly)........................I inputted your cheat........and it says "Invalid Action Replay MAX Code". Um...........so now I'm sad. Is there any other way? Any other cheat? Is there a way to get around this?

P.S. Forgot to mention that I use the ntsc version of KH II on my ps2

 

Hmm... Then it must be your mastercode, do you use the one on the front page?

 

Yeah....just checked....I have the exact same Master Code in use as the one on the first page of this forum. Is there a sperate one I could use? I'm already going to put an extra entry for Kingdom Hearts 2 on my ARMax if i need a diff Master, cuz I don't want to mess up my other codes.

OK...heh heh...this is embarrassing... i put in the code, one number/letter at a time.....now it works. I noticed you cannot imput any keys, such as triangle or x, to imput regular commands, but I have no complaints......THIS IS AWESOME!

Interesting........OK, so yeah, your cheat works GREAT! ....but this cheat brings up an interesting topic....
When you enter your game with this cheat, then explore around, I noticed something. When you press START to get into the menu, There is Goofy, Donald, and....an O.XIII member? Its kinda glitched up, so the character looks wacked up. But it brings up in my mind: is there a cheat for playing as roxas? Actually, let me put that more detailed: A Roxas in O.XIII clothing? I ask this, once again, for the KHII (not KHII:FM) ntsc

 

It isn't possible since he isn't in the game as a boss (only appears in cutscenes) which would make him mushball if you try and play as him.

 

Any chance of there ever being a play as ORG. XIII roxas is if someone hacked the actual iso and made a patch for it, otherwise it won't happen.

 

Ah! but here's the thing, good sir. at one point, I had a Gameshark for the PS2. I was looking around for "play as" codes. Well, I happened, at that point in time, to find a code to play as a hooded roxas. and it worked. but i never found that cheat ever again. so....that freaked me out a little, but still. thats why i asked if it was possible. Note: his moves were the same as regular DW Roxas.

Its just wierd because I've noticed that Gameshark doesn't have too many awesome cheat codes like that. but if you could find it and find a way to convert it, It would be very nice. I will look in my art books and see if I can find the original code. (yeah...i do put my cheat codes in my art books.)

 

You sure it was for NTSC? I hardly think so, unless that code you're talking about was to play as a mushball.

 

I'm positive it was NTSC. I hate PAL 4 some reason. But yeah.....I don't see the cheat ANYWHERE anymore. but it was for Gameshark (not sure what version), and it played fine. But it was the exact same moveset as regular DW Roxas
