What does DMA even mean?

 

it means that it will only work in the room its been hacked in

 

No it's to make Roxas act as an ally instead of another player. Hence why if you take it out Roxas is like a player.

Dma means it only works in one room. But it isnt a dma, even without the 2 bold lines.

How often do I have to say this!?
DMA does not mean it will only work in one room. It means it will only work under certain conditions. For most DMA codes, that means a specific room. But for others it could mean something different.

 

like play as bosses i mean like the animations only work in that area but the mushballs work almost everywhere right?

 

Well, let's take the Play as Hooded Roxas from FM.
There are two conditions.
1. Be in that area.
2. Have Limit Cut Hooded Roxas boss in that area.

Here's another example.
Play as Ven Anywhere (Again, FM). There is only one condition:
Have Terra in Donald's Slot.

Character size mods and color mods are the only codes I know of that are only DMA to a room.

So how would I get a player in a party slot to act like an ally?

Because Role mods to make players allies freezes..

 

Well I think the whole Royal Rumble thing also uses animation mods, which are DMA. The Target Mod I'm not sure about.

Try using the aly roxas code but replacing the ucm digits in the first line with someone else.

 

Guys, just forget about that idea, don't you think any of the coders or even me have tried that?

Animations are NOT unDMAable, that's why we will NEVER, and this is 100% sure, NEVER, play as a boss everywhere without romhacking, and i'm not pretending to be rude.
