    Only specific codes need to be jokered in order to work? is there a way to know if they do or don't?

    yes all you do is test it and if it doesn't work then you joker it. also will joker those codes.

    Here you go!

    Infinite Drive
    D035B55C 0000FDFF
    21C95308 0A090964

    Play as Hooded Mickey
    D035B55C 0000FDFF
    11C95618 0000005B

    Instuctions: Hold R2 while walking into a new area/room and the codes should work.

    Important: Do not save with infinite drive enabled unless you 100% sure you want to keep it on cus once you save it you can't disable it in the game.

    Enjoy!;)

    unfortunately, the codes didn't work. I tried the codes (both at the same time and individually) in Beast's castle and Land of the Dragons.
    I think it may have something to do with the master code. I tried warping to various bosses in Re: CoM, and those codes were jokered, and they worked fine. On the code page for Re: CoM, it had the master code for Gamshark 2 V2, which is the version I'm using.
    It's just my guess, but I think the master code that is posted on the first page of the thread is for other versions of Gameshark besides V2. Or maybe its something else

    At least I hope that the master code is the only issue, because the sooner I get to play as a Gangster Hooded Mickey Mouse fighting Sephiroth, the better. I knew Square Soft was reading my fan fictions.
    Thanks for helping though, I really appreciate it.

    No problem^^, idk why that master code doesn't work on your gameshark, because it should work regardless as long as it supports raw codes which gameshark does, so frankly idk what the problem could be, sorry.=/

    After doing a bit of research, I eventually discovered a few things. The first is that Gameshark 2 V2, the gameshark I'm using, is actually a rebranded Action Replay 2 V2. The second is that Datel encrypted the codes on the PS2. The encryption was to prevent hackers from translating the codes for use on other cheat devices, as well as to prevent the creations of a code using a template.
    My question is if the master code provided is encrypted or decrypted (or if it really matters) and if there is someway to work around the encryption issue to find codes that work (maybe via a cheat code converter)

    Yeah, the codes needs to be encrypted. There are converters for that, I personally use maxconvert: http://www.codemasters-project.net/portal-english/apportal/request.php?6

    Just download the program and put in the code as RAW (which most codes are) and output as AR2v2/GS2v2 and also don't forget to put in the Game ID which I do believe is 0911 for KH2 NTSC.

    Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I need help using some of these codes on PCSX2. I am trying to use the universal room modifier and it wont send me to the room I want. I tried pressing R2 I added a joker. Other codes work just fine it just seems this one does not want to work properly. If someone could give me some advice it would be fantastic.

    First of all, what are you using to activate your codes, emuhaste or pnach files?

    I am using pnach files. When I first started using pcsx2 it was the only way I learned how to activate codes in games. I was not aware there was another way.

    yes there is another way of using cheats with the use of a program called emuhaste where all you have to do is copy and paste your codes into emuhaste and click apply and your done. its that easy, however some codes still have certain conditions in order for them for work.

    So does the room modifier work with emuhaste? And for that matter, what sort of codes don't work? I apologize for asking all these questions but you have been a great help so far Sean B.

    EDIT: I tried installing emuhaste and it worked the first time I used it (I was able to go to the secret place on Destiny Islands in KH2) but after that, when I restarted and tried other areas like the vault or villain's vale, it showed me like a first person view and I could not see or interact with Sora and the HUD was no where to be seen. Have I done something wrong?

    The trick to get the room mod to work consistent is to activate the code in the Hall of the Cornerstone and then walk into the Audience Chamber (y)

    I think one of the Drive Codes somehow messes up the Growth Abilities.

    Somehow High Jump is stuck at Level 1, even though it clearly said I obtained Level 3 while in battle. Because of this, I can't get High Jump on Sora's normal form. Any idea what's up with this?

    These are the ones I used:

    Drive Form Without Party (Use in conjunction with the code below)
    201C78B8 0000102D

    Party Members Don't Disappear When Using Drive (Use in conjunction with the code above)
    201C77E8 0000102D

    Drive Forms Level Up to 7 After One Hit
    201D3FDC 3C0F0007
    201D3DEC 240F0007

    Have 9 Drive Bars
    20340C90 0A090964

    Quick Level Up
    20340E48 0098967F

    (The Quick Level Up code was used way earlier in the game, and it got me to 99 real fast, giving me loads of Abilities already, but could this have bugged up the Forms?)

    Quick Level Up is really the only thing I could see that could throw that set of codes off a bit, especially if the Quick Level was used before the Drive Forms code.

    Hello, I've completed the modified 60FPS code for KH2. Just like the one I made for the original Kingdom Hearts, It's setup to be automatically toggled on and off depending on whether it is game play or cutscene/fmv/scripted events. I made this on PCSX2 and have play tested through the whole game. There may be minor issues, only one that bugged me a bit was the lift of an enemy by the "Upper Slash" ability wasn't as high.

    gametitle=Kingdom Hearts II (SLUS-21005)

    //60fps toggle on (game play)
    patch=1,EE,D1C88EA0,extended,00000003
    patch=1,EE,00356F4C,extended,00000000

    //60fps toggle off (cutscenes, fmv and other scripted events)
    patch=1,EE,D1C88EA0,extended,00000002
    patch=1,EE,00356F4C,extended,00000001

    nice work again! also yes the physics or whatever is going to be off with the 60FPS hack. anytime you shoot someone in the air they wont go high in the air. I'm not sure if it's possible to fix. The animation or coordinates are linked with the FPS some how.

    Right, I'm trying to see if I can find the address that would handle gravity like someone did for Birth by Sleep, hoping that a minor adjustment would fix that. Haha, when I was playing through the game as quick as I could I became frustrated with the Luxord battle at the end and located the address for both Sora's and Luxord's Time bars;

    Luxord Battle-Sora's Time (42C80000 is max)
    21D5D9A4 42C80000

    Luxord Battle-Luxord's Time (42C80000 is max)
    21D5D9D8 42C80000

    The code for Sora's time seems to be tied to some other bars in the game that decrease over time like the Courage Bar during one of the mini games in 100 Acre Wood.
