Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Riku, look, we're not gonna make it too far to even figure out if we're halfway to the Gummi. We need to find a way to get energy NOW Riku! I am not willing to die to the darkness!" Eden screamed. This was HER body, and she could tell when her body would not make it to nourishment.

 

"Well what the hell do you suggest?! Because there is no way in hell I am resorting to cannibalism for food!"Riku growled. He was starting to get sick and tired of the complaining.

 

"I don't know but I would love a good idea.... I have one, but I don't think it would properly work in our conditions." Eden bit her imaginary lip, thinking. She literally had no idea on what it could do, but dammit she'd need to try.

 

"Heartless hunting? I don't think there's any meat on them though...."Riku shook his head. "great, I've been spending way too much time around Sora...."

 

Eden slowly sighed, cringing at the idea. "No, I don't want to eat darkened meat." she growled, though if desperate she would try. "Anyway, what I want us to try is a Drive. It'll give us a big boost of energy, but we may crash after the power boost."

 

OOC: Not entirely sure how you'd pull that off, unless you used Riku's heart, but i like the idea of drive forms in this. And Anime, that's much better :P gonna have to pull some fancy crap out of my butt to get out of this one ;)
IC: Gregory was panicking. Slowly but surely, these people were getting the better of him. He couldn't target the girl with the daggers because of the shield the boy with the key was making, he couldnt target the one that summoned a rock because the other two were lethal, and he couldnt target the boy with the key because of the girl with the daggers. What to do? Oh what to do Gregory thought. From within his jacket pocket, he pulled out a crude looking dagger. Good thing i've still got this he thought. Bracing himself for the impact, he expertly deflected the daggers with the single dagger he held. He then enclosed himself in his wings as the fireballs hit. The searing pain was unbearable, rendering his wings completely useless to him now, but he had survived. He looked at Sora with bloodstained eyes from his wings, his eyes now finding it difficult to retain focus. "YOU WANT SOME MORE?!" he screamed, laughing maniacally and rushing straight towards Sora. He leapt into the air, attempting to come down with a vertical slash that would be sure to split Sora's stomach if he didn't block it somehow.

Gexln titled his head on an angle. Eden seemed to be contemplating something. "Eden, are you alright?" he asked, not concerned but moreso suspicious of her motives.

 

Eden mentally grunted, but took control.
Her body shook with pain, but she would have to answer quick. "I... No, not really. It's like swimming through caramel, it's too thick. I'm human, hun, my muscles are getting tired. I haven't had a proper meal in a long time, and malnourishment is gonna get me killed." she grunted.
ooc: well, I don't know exactly how the drive would work,but it would take a lot more then just a simple external body drive(the normal kind like in KH2). I need to figure that out

 

Gexln shrugged his shoulders. "Well, i feel fine" he lied. His stomach growled from hunger.

 

"Reflega!"Sora immediately cast a shield on himself the moment he saw Gregory with the dagger. Valerie took a deep breath, wanting to protect herself."Protect!"She lifted on of her daggers, a thin viel of protection surrounding her. It wasn't much, but she would get better at it.

 

Gregory slammed against the shield, the impact injuring his hand slightly. He ducked down underneath and struck out with a kick aimed for Sora's stomach.

 

Sora barely managed to block the kick, grabbing Gregory by the leg. "Don't even try it...."he growled. Valerie tossed her daggers once more, trying something new. "Fire!"On the word her daggers suddenly had a aura of flames around them, suprising Valerie. Magic daggers? Sweet! How didn't I see that sooner?!"Jeffrey, Earth Spell!"Sora let go, launching a fire blast right at Gregory.

 

Gregory shook his head. "Tch, amateurs" he said. He pushed out with his leg that was grabbed, pushing Sora away frmo himself. He then charged straight through the fireball, searing his face, grabbed Sora, and attempted to throw him behind himself at the flaming daggers.

 

Jeffrey ran behind Gregory, and cast another multiple-stone Earth spell. He launched most of them at the man, saving a few in case he dodged the attack.

Kairi couldn't help but agree with Eden. "Maybe we should rest for now, even if we can't do anything about food."

 

"We can't rest in this sludge, it'll pull us down." Eden winced, focusing on trying to find land. She knew things were getting worse by the minute. She couldn't find land, anywhere, and this was getting bad. This is a stupider idea, but let's pray it works. "Kairi! Do have energy to use water magic? I have a crazy idea that could work!"

 

OOC: Just going to post this while i wait on Anime to post. Jeffrey'd get hit by the daggers if he runs behind Gregory :P
IC: "What are you thinking?" Gexln asked, dreading what was to come.

 

Sora screamed, getting out of the grip. The baby inside him was panicking, Sora starting to run on adrenaline. "You leave Sora alone, you big jerk!"Valerie snapped.

 

Eden winced, going to have to rely on Riku, as Kairi was taking more time then she had to clarify. "Ri! Can you still use your own magic? I have a stupid idea that could work!"

 

Gregory laughed. "Hmph. None of you are strong enough to kill me. Nor will you ever be" Gregory said coldly. After taking a semi-deep breath, he ran over to Sora and vaulted straight over him, before sprinting off and away from the battle, bloadsoaked and in pain.

"I should have some left," Kairi replied. "But I don't know how many spells I can cast or how long I can hold one."

Jeffrey walked over to them, still panting. "Well, I guess we won," he said, "but he can still attack us later..."
