"Oh, really? Well, i don't really feel the cold much" he said. "Would you like this cloak then? It'd keep you warmer" he offered.

 

"The same for me, I suppose," Jeffrey replied, gazing at the line of orange on the horizon. "I mostly just hung out with my group of friends the whole time. But I just ignored the people I didn't like." He sighed. "Still, I miss going to school and being with my friends." He looked at Eden and Gexln. "So what if they don't really like us much? We have reasons to dislike Gexln, too. Though, I'm not so sure about Eden..."

 

"Thank you kindly." Eden graciously took the coat, wrapping it around herself. "I'd light myself up, but I think there's been enough fire lately." She almost chuckled. She tried to imagine Gex's coat as another's. One familiar, one she knew the scent of, one she dearly missed. She almost inhaled Gex's scent, catching herself doing the action and tried to play it off as nothing. She always wondered about the scent of humans, how every one was unique. Then again, this was a nobody.

 

"Meh..."Valerie looked to her paopu, taking another bite. "Now I see why this is such a talked about fruit in the game. It's actually really good."she took another from the tree, tossing it to Jeffrey. "To cheer the mood... at least with us."she said.

"Rikuuuu, where are you guys?!"Sora's voice snatched Riku from his relaxation. Relaxing, Sora...gah, almost forgot about this....Riku sighed. "oops...sorry."

 

Jeffrey caught the other paopu and took a bite out of one of the five tips. "That is sweet!" He swallowed and took another bite. "It's like it's pure sugar." He laughed. "I wonder when the next time we'll have a chance to relax like this will be."

 

Gexln was now sitting in a gray t-shirt and black pants, just as Glen once did. "Hey, when i feel like helping i help, simple as that" he said, chuckling quietly.

 

"Psh, another thing I hated about my school was people always assumed that I was....y'know. I mean, I hung out with mostly girls, though I did have like...3 guy friends at the school. But still... I never really had much of a male figure in my life...."Valerie sighed, going back into her depression, eating her paopu.

 

"I understand. Really, I do." Eden shivered further, looking at the ocean and it's peaceful waves. "I wish this was all just a dream, and we'd wake up anytime soon..."

 

"Well..." Jeffrey couldn't think of what exactly to say to cheer her up. He decided to change the topic. "We'll find some way to get back on Eden's good side." He took another bite of paopu. "Maybe it'll just take some time."

 

"Hey, Jeff.... You think that legend is true? About the whole 'destinies being intertwined' thing..."Valerie looked at her paopu fruit. "I wonder if Sora's still a paopu innocent. hmph, or maybe he did share one with Kairi...."She looked at the star shaped fruit. "All of us could share one. Then we could be friends Foreeeverrr..."she chuckled at the idea.

Riku was waiting for everyone to snap out of it, sitting at the docks.

 

"Who knows?" Jeffrey looked at his own. "It might, or it might now." He spotted Riku at the docks. "I think Riku might be waiting for us..." He scratched the back of his neck.

 

"I can see that..."Valerie sighed. "Psh, look at us. Who knows what Selphie would be thinking if she saw us like this..."she couldn't help but laugh.


Riku was looking over to the duo, getting the wrong idea. Psh, figures that those two would go all lovey dovey on eachother. If he kisses her, I wouldn't be suprised....

 

"She'd think it'd be 'so romantic'," Jeffrey replied, chuckling a bit. "Who knows how far should she would take it, though."

 

"Probably yell something like 'kiss heeer' and all that jazz...."Valerie looked over to the docks, seeing the look on Rikus face. "Is he smiling? It's too far away to tell... Oh my gawwd, he better not be thinking what I think he's thinking...I think."she said.

 

"Too many 'thinks'," Jeffrey joked. "I don't know if Riku would think something like that. Then again, if he is... man, this must look so obvious."

 

"Dude, we should play his little mind games. Just to mess around with him. It'll be hilarious!"Valerie chuckled to herself. Riku's gonna see us and be all impressed and we'll try not to laugh our butts off because it was more like a 'play along' kiss....

 

Jeffrey could feel his face growing hotter. "Y-yeah," he replied. "We'll mess with his mind." He scooted closer to Valerie.

 

"what, you're expecting me to do it? Oh come on, man, it's the guy thats gotta show dominance!"Valerie grinned, very close to Jeffrey. Riku was watching the two, suddenly interested.

 

Even if you're the older one? "F-fine then," Jeffrey replied. He turned and leaned towards her, his eyes starting to close.

 

Valerie closed her eyes, trying to stay calm. Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh....
