Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Sora gasped, jumping up to catch his keyblade. He was really starting to lose his patience, but kept himself full of energy. Riku saw Gexln distracted, charging with Way to Dawn to land a blow to the stomach or the ribs.

 

Gexln attempted to jump out of the way, but only half succeeded. The strike hit him in the ribs, and knocked him to the side. "Urgh!" he exclaimed as he was sent crashing to the ground. He stood up quickly, an agonising pain in his ribs now. "You really want me to go all out on this one, don't you?" he questioned.

 

"No. Will you guys please stop? None of us are going to pass if we keep trying to kill eachother!"Sora huffed. "This isn't testing our skills, this is homicide! This fight wasn't about winning! It was a test of skill, a test of heart... and you both..."he trailed off. "Why even explain it to someone that doesn't have one..."he said in defeat, shaking his head. "Sora, you really are trying to make him kill us...."Riku shook his head.


OOC:Okay, seriously. Can Yen Sid end this before they end up trying to kill eachother?._.

 

Gexln's grin vanished from his face immediately. "I wouldn't expect you to understand. None of YOU could ever know what it's like. To know that people frown upon you like you're a failure, to know you're just some..some..some second-rate object! Don't even try to understand me!" he yelled, consumed by his fury. He rushed at Sora with blinding speed and swung the Shadow Keyblade aimed at Sora's skull.

 

"Sora!"Riku made a jab for Gexlns chest with Way to Dawn. Sora barely had time to react, doing his best to duck down in time to avoid a fatal slash.

OOC:Okay seriously, where is Yen Sid?o_o

 

OOC: Eden went to sleep lol
IC: Gexln didn't stop. He leapt straight up and flipped over Sora. He then spun around in mid-air and attempted to come down with a slash on the young wielder.

 

Sora blocked with Oblivion only on instinct, refusing to use magic. Riku and Sora both slashed at Gexln, Riku attacking from behind after the jump.

 

OOC: Been a while since i used Dark Pulse, i'd almost forgotten it. Almost.
IC: Gexln saw no other way out of his situation, or at least none that sprang to mind. Focusing intensely, he released a violent burst of dark energy around himself, knocking Sora and Riku away from him.

 

OOC:Okay seriously, Gexln should be disqualified at this point for THAT alone.XD
BIC:
Sora and Riku were knocked off their feet from the blast, both groaning. "This is getting us nowhere...."Riku huffed. "We can't give up...."Sora sat up, shaking off the blast of the dark energy.

 

OOC: Yen Sid could've stopped them and punished them for breaching the rules, yet he didn't. Ever thought they don't HAVE to follow that rule?
IC: Gexln growled slightly, still full to the brim with fury. He turned and looked at Sora. He then slowly pointed the Shadow Keyblade at Sora and said nothing.

 

Riku saw Gexlns ferocity(is that a word? ferocity...) towards Sora, getting in a defensive position. Sora saw Riku getting possesive, getting in a position so he could defend himself. This is getting rediculous......

 

OOC: Yup, it's a word. I like the sound of it too :P
IC: Gexln sprang towards Sora without a word and feinted a swing at Sora's skull again, then quickly switched to aiming at his torso instead.

Sora blocked for a blow to his skull, but Riku saw through the deception and blocked the shot at Sora stomach. They both got back on their feet, Riku charging Gexln with Way to Dawn. Sora tried to land a blow to the chest with Oblivion,still a weak spot with a non-existant heart.

 

Gexln swung the Shadow Keyblade with such force it equalled the might of the two keyblade masters, right as his skin began to turn a dark gray, almost black.

 

Riku and Sora were sent back a bit, both suprised. "gah..."The prolonged fight was really starting to get to Sora. Riku was trying not to show exhaustion, but that was what he was starting to feel.

 

Gexln, though furious, wasn't going to enter Dark Form. His skin returned to its natural pale colour, but he kept up the pressure on Sora and Riku, the effort tiring him quickly.

 

Eden went in front of Gexln, chasing Sora and trying to at least knock him out without fire. Her eyes sparked a darker fire, fueled by the anger of possibly being beaten. "What motive do you have for becoming Masters anyway!? Just the title! Me and Gex deserve it more than you..." she whispered harshly in his ear.

 

Sora pushed Eden back, not giving up that easily. He was refusing to speak, knowing it was his mouth that got him in trouble with Gexln. Riku charged at Eden, Way to Dawn aimed to injur anywhere he could without it being fatal.

Meanwhile, the game had gotten...interesting. Roxas was down to his shirt and his pants, offering his sock this round. Valerie had a few lucky rounds, and now all she was missing was her shoes and gloves. "I got a pair..."Roxas groaned, showing a pair of twos followed by a four of hearts, a six of spades, and a nine of diamonds. Valerie sighed, looking bored out of her mi-wait what? she looked bored?

 

Kairi was only missing her shoes. While she did lose a few times after the fist round, she managed to win back most of her clothing. Jeffrey on the other hand, was down to his underwear, his shirt being up for the round. "I've got a flush," Kairi said, putting her cards down - the queen, ten, nine, six, and three of hearts. I'm pretty good at this, she thought, triumphantly.
Jeffrey's mood was the complete opposite. "I've got a pair..." A pair of threes, the six of clubs, the eight of diamonds, and the king of hearts.

 

"Full House!"Valerie said in triumph. She had a pair of nines and three sevens. "Sorry Jeffy. But I think it means you're out. You can take your clothes back and watch though."she said innocently. Nice boxers...she internally giggled. Roxas got Jeffrey's clothes together for him, also taking the cards. "Kairi, how about you shuffle this time? switch the order this round."Roxas suggested. "Fine by me. I'm gonna beat you all and get to see Roxy shirtless this round."Valerie teased.
